Bob Bergman Genoa Area, Bob Bergman is a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University earning a Bachelor s degree. in Middle Childhood Education Bob also earned his Masters degree in Administration from BGSU. in 2013 Bob is in his 9th Season as the head coach of Genoa High School During this time he has. a 259 55 dual meet record which includes winning the OHSAA Div III Dual Meet State Champion. ships in 2018 and 2019 seasons His teams have won 7 consecutive Conference Championships. 6 Sectional Championships 2 District Championships and placed in the Top 10 five times at the. In 1992 my officiating career started at a Martins Ferry High. School open tournament I stopped to watch Larry Deaton and a. few other officials on my way to see my brother Larry and Steve. Kish were working short because of a no show official They told. me to get on a mat and help So that s when the fire started to. become an official, From there I went on to get my officials license and with. the help of many experienced officials I ve had a very good ca. reer officiating Some of my officiating includes, 15 West Virginia Regionals. 15 West Virginia State Tournaments, 24 Ohio Sectionals. 17 Districts and a State Tournament, I have worked the tables at both the State tournament. and the State individual tournament for many years and I enjoy. each and every time I m involved This year marked my 25th. OVAC Wrestling Tournament where I was the official of the year. twice I was also recognized as official of the year in WV in 1997. I have been Secretary Treasurer of our Association for. 23 years and through a lot of hard work and the help of many. the association has grown financially and with new members. I became an instructor when it first started and have been doing. it since that time I have added more than 25 officials to wres. tling I am also the only assigner in the Eastern District. My hope is to continue adding new officials and grow our associ. ation and the sport of wrestling, RANDALL R WROBLE MD.
Dr Wroble is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Orthopedic One in. Columbus Ohio, His education has included BA Cornell University MS in Chem. istry University of Colorado MD University of Illinois Orthopae. dic Residency University of Iowa Fellowship in Sports Medicine. Cincinnati, Dr Wroble has been Medical Coordinator for the State High. School Wrestling Tournament since 1990 He has been team. physician at University of Iowa Miami University Ohio University. and Otterbein University and for multiple high schools He has. been on medical staff of 7 NCAA Championships Olympic trials. Junior Olympics Junior Nationals World Cup Junior World. Championships and Senior World Championships He has pub. lished over 10 papers and has written 6 book chapters on wres. tling Dr Wroble has received several accolades for his work. including the 2013 Greg Brooks Award and 2013 2018 Top Doc. in sports medicine by U S News and World Report, OWOA 50 Year Awards. In the past it was highly unusual for officials to receive 50 Year rec. ognition however even more unusual is to have 3 in the same year. All three have been state officers in the Ohio Wrestling Officials Asso. ciation All three are members of the Ohio Wrestling Officials Hall of. Jeff Crosby, Jeff is from Bellevue and the South Shore Wrestling Officials Associa. tion where he served as secretary of that group for over 25 years He. also is a past president of the OWOA, Dan Cutcher, Daniel L Cutcher of the Central District has served the OWOA as.

Fame Chairman Dan is a past president of the Central District Wres. tling Officials as well as secretary for 14 years He also was a two. time President of the Central District Officials Committee.
