WelcomeThe Verizon T46G and T46GW IP desk phones arestationary Voice-over-IP (VoIP) business phones thatsupport One Talk from Verizon features with up to 22programmable line buttons. They come with a 4.3-inchcolor display and 10 multipurpose line key buttons. TheT46G supports optional Wi-Fi for wireless connectionand Bluetooth for hands-free calling. The T46GWships with the Wi-Fi adapter included.SMMost importantly, both models support the Verizon OneTalk service. So, wherever you are—at your desk or onthe move—you never have to miss a call.Connect to broadband and power.Startup and initializationPowerWhen your One Talk phone is connected to thenetwork and powered on, it will automatically start theinitialization process. The phone will attempt to contacta Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) serverin your network to obtain valid IPv4 network settings bydefault. After connecting, the power light will start as asteady red light, then blink and turn off wheninitialization is complete.You have two options for broadband and powerconnections. Your system administrator will advise youon which one to use.NetworkConnect the included standard Ethernet cable (or otherstandard Ethernet cable) between the internet port onthe phone and the port on the wall or on your Powerover Ethernet (PoE)-capable switch/hub device.After startup, and confirming the 911 address, thephone will be ready for use.Initial setupIf your T46G desk phone is not already connected andset up for using the Verizon One Talk service, pleaseverify the following with your system administratorbefore proceeding:1. You have a One Talk number.Wi-Fi connectivity (optional)2. Your user information has been updated in the OneTalk Admin portal with your 911 address and emailaddress.As an alternative to wired Ethernet connection,the T46G desk phone can also connect to thenetwork wirelessly with the optional WF40 Wi-FiUSB dongle. The T46GW ships with a Wi-Fi adapteralready installed.3. Your phone number has been included in anybusiness group features.4.
