Installation AccessoriesClad Wood SubsillSubsills are recommended for installations where recaulkingwould be difficult or high weather exposure exists due to theheight or location of the building. The need for the subsillweep system is increased where there are multiple units in agiven opening.Note: The clad wood subsill is an open weep system. An interior air seal iscritical to the performance of this system. Also, DO NOT SEAL the exteriorframe expander to the opening.Used with Pella clad windows.Detail at right: Custom 0.05" (1.27) aluminum sillflashing used with clad wood subsill.
