If required by Federal, CDC, State and local regulations, steps may be taken at the trials to address and enforcecleanliness and social distancing protocols, particularly in the spectator and crating areas. Exhibitors, udges and workers may also be asked to wear masks. If building capacity limitations are still in effect, it may be necessary to stagger trial start times and requireexhibitors to leave when their classes are finished except for those awaiting further judging or HC, HIT awards. AKC has prepared a list of best practices, some of which may be in effect on the trial dates. The AKC document can be found atAKC COVID-19 Coronavirus Updates website. DTCT is providing a list of applicable guidelines attached to this Premium that will be enforced so that you may make a personaldecision as to whether you would like to comply and safely attend. The closing date has also been extended to allow potential exhibitors additional decision time as to whether to participate. If youdo decide to attend, you will be asked to submit and sign the DTCT Event Waiver and Agreement which includes COVID-19provisions. No entries will be accepted without the signed waiver. The waiver is found after the entry blank included in thisPremium.Should any trial need to be cancelled due to COVID-19, please be assured that you will receive a 100% refund of your actual entry fees.Mailed entries will have checks shredded, and those using Paypal online entries will receive a full entry fee credit to your credit card minusPaypal transaction fees. Checks will not be deposited until after the trial closing date.99ENTRIES Electronic submission of entries, payment of entry fees by credit card, and pdf. format fillable Entry and Waiver forms are nowavailable for exhibitors’ convenience. Please see the instructions for directions on how to use these options.Entry Fees: Each obedience trial is a separate trial. Trial entry fees for each day are 27.00 for first entry of each dog. Additionalentry of a dog that is already entered in the same trial is 18.00.Credit Card Surcharge: There is a Paypal surcharge for entry fee payments by credit card. See entry form directions for surchargeamounts.AKC Recording Fees: Per AKC, “A recording fee of 3.50 will be required for each dog entered If a dog is entered in more than oneclass; the recording fee will be collected on the first entry only.” The recording fee is included in the trial entry fee.

Closing Date: Entries close at 5:00 P.M on Friday, February 19, 2021, after which time entries cannot be accepted, changed orcanceled as provided in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. All overnight entries must be marked “Signature Waived”. No entrywill be accepted, canceled or changed after the closing date. The exception is for bitches that come in season after the closing. Transfers (moveups): Transfers for the Saturday, February 27, 2021 trials must be submitted to the Trial Secretary by Monday,February 22, 2021 Transfers for the Sunday, February 28, 2021 trials must be submitted to the Trial Secretary by the close of Saturday’strials. Contact or see the Trial Secretary for transfer forms.TRIAL SITE There is no room for RV’s on the trial site. Overnight parking is NOT allowed. The building will be air conditioned for the dogs’ comfort.OTHER Food and drinks will not be available for sale on the premises. However, there are a number of fast food restaurants close by. Dogs should be present not more than ½ hour prior to judging and will be excused and expected to leave immediately afterthe class unless needed for further judging. Due to space constraints, unentered dogs and X-pens are not allowed on the premises during the Trials.ENTRY BLANK INSTRUCTIONS FROM AKC1. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a dog is acquired by a newowner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless ofwhether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whethertransfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)2. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM Program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC Obedience trials at the club’s option. Thesedogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC Number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Sire andDam information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

HOW TO SEND IN AN ENTRYEntry Preparation: There are two ways to prepare the Entry and Agreement forms for these trials. Entry Preparation Option 1—The preferred entry preparation option uses the Entry and Waiver forms formatted as pdf. fillable forms. Tabfrom box to box, and enter the text, or click on the small box to complete the forms. In the top section of the Entry form click on the box(es) nextto the class(es) you wish to enter in each trial. Enter the jump height in the next column where needed. Then enter the entry fee in the box to theright of the jump height box. Put the total entry fee for each trial at the bottom of the entry fee column. In the bottom row enter the total entry feefor all trials and the Paypal surcharge. Put the total amount submitted in the last box on the right.Enter the dog’s information and the owner’s information in the lower boxes. Be sure to include REGISTRATION NUMBERS, the DOG’SOFFICIAL NAME and GENDER. Input your name in the signature boxes on both forms. So there is no need to fill anything out by hand.(This option is strongly recommend for ease of completing the form and saving the Trial Secretary’s eyes from illegible handwriting.) Entry Preparation Option 2---The Entry and Waiver may be filled out by hand. The form is filled the same way as the Option 1 forms, exceptthat boxes are checked and the text is handwritten. Last, sign at the bottom. If any information on hand-scribed forms is illegible, the entry willnot be processed, and the handler will be requested to redo the entry using the fillable form or email the information. The Agreement form onlyrequires entering the owner’s name, telephone number, email address and another signature.Payment of Entry Fees: You may pay the entry fees either by check or using a credit card. Payment by Check--Checks should be made out to “DTCT” and mailed to the Trial Secretary. Payment by Credit Card:--If you wish the convenience of using a credit card, you must use your personal Paypal account. Open the account,click the “Send” button, enter “DTCTampa@yahoo.com“ in the box and follow the prompts from there. Please indicate in the notes sectionwhat the payment is for. There is a surcharge for using the Paypal account. To send amounts under 30, add 2; for 30- 99 add 3; for 100or over add 4.Entry Submission: There are likewise two ways to submit entry forms to the Trial Secretary. .
