THE DESIGN GUIDELINESThese guidelines describe the visual and verbalelements that represent Hilliard City Schoolsidentity. This includes our name, logo and otherelements such as color, type and graphics.Sending a consistent and controlled message of whowe are is essential to presenting a strong, unifiedimage of our district.These guidelines reflect Hilliard City Schoolscommitment to quality, consistency and style.The Hilliard City Schools brand, including the logo,name, colors and identifying elements, are valuabledistrict assets.Each of us is responsible for protecting the district’sinterests by preventing unauthorized or incorrectuse of the Hilliard City Schools name and marks.

The signature is a combinationof the symbol itself and our name – they have a fixedrelationship that should never be changed in any way.THE FULL LOGOTYPEThe Hilliard City Schools Logo comprises two elements, the logosymbol and logotype. The Logo Symbol is a powerful imageevoking the culture of preparing our students to be Ready ForTomorrow.The district logo is presented through the use of color as wellas shape and form. The two corporate colors are Dark Blue andLight Blue. It is a fresh and appealing blend of colors chosen fortheir strong combination - modern - classic - timeless.The Logotype has been carefully chosen for its modern and yetrefined, highly legible style, which has been further enhanced bythe use of uppercase letters. The typeface is Whitney Bold andhas also been chosen to complement and balance perfectly withthe logo symbol.THE LOGOTYPE12HILLIARD CITY SCHOOLS1) The Logo SymbolConsists of a powerful element evoking thestudents moving through the school districtand achieving their highest potential.2) The Logo TitleCarefully chosen for its modern and yetrefined, highly legible style, which has beenfurther enhanced by the use of uppercaseletters in blue tone of the chosen districtcolor. The font that is used here is WhitneyBold.1) The general LogoThe main logo is the dark logo used on white or colored background.
