3Cambridge ICEThe Cambridge ICE certificate is a group award designed for schools that want to offer a broadcurriculum. Candidates enter and sit for a minimum of seven subjects selected from the five IGCSEcurriculum areas: Group 1 – Languages, Group 2 – Humanities, Group 3 – Sciences, Group 4 –Mathematics, Group 5 - Creative and Vocational.Cambridge ICE is awarded to candidates who pass in at least seven Cambridge IGCSE subjects, includingtwo from Group 1 and one from each of Groups 2 to 5. The seventh subject may be chosen from any ofthe syllabus groups. Please note schools are responsible for ensuring that students have valid subjectsfor the combination award as Cambridge will no longer be responsible for validation. Entrieswithdrawn due to non-qualification will not receive refunds from Cambridge International.Teaching Group for Primary & Secondary CheckpointYou need to enter a teaching group code for each syllabus entry. Cambridge uses this information in thediagnostic feedback provided at the end of the series. Assign the same teaching group code to allcandidates who are in the same class (teaching group).For example, if your candidates for English as a Second Language are taught in two separate classes, youshould enter ‘L1’ as the teaching group code for all candidates in the first class and ‘L2’ for all candidatesin the second class. The teaching group codes available in each subject are listed on the SchoolsRegistration System (SRS) portal.Important information:1. We recommend you register and pay within normal registration period; your registration is notcomplete until we have received your payment. Please avoid paying on last day of normal stageas we may not have received payment until the window lapses, and this may attract late feecharges.2.
