Let us pray,begging the Theotokos for the constantrepetition of the Jesus Prayer.Let us remember the Miracle performed inCana of Galilee, when the Lord turned waterinto wine at the word of the Theotokos: "Theyhave no wine." Let us ask the Theotokos - whois quick to hear - for help in our affairs anddeliverance from need.Let us remember the Theotokos standing bythe Cross of the Lord, when grief piercedthrough her heart like a sword. Let us pray tothe Theotokos for the strengthening of oursouls and the banishment of despondency.The Resurrection Cycle (Evening, orWednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays)8

Let us remember the Resurrection of Christ,and ask the Theotokos in prayer to resurrectour souls and give us a new courage forspiritual feats.Let us remember the Ascension of Christ, atwhich the Theotokos was present. Let us prayand ask the Queen of Heaven to raise up oursouls from earthly and worldly diversions, anddirect them to striving for higher things.Let us remember the Descent of the Holy Spiritupon the Apostles and the Theotokos. Let uspray: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, andrenew a right spirit within me. Cast me notaway from Your presence, and take not YourHoly Spirit from me."Let us remember the Dormition of the BlessedTheotokos, and ask for a peaceful and sereneend.Let us remember the glory of the Theotokos,9
