AnubhutiOur Inspiration . . .MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN: DO NOT WAIT FORCHANGE TO HAPPEN TO YOUIndia has come a long way in its economic, social, and politicalevolution in the short space of 20 years. The geographicallandscape, both urban and rural has changed and isunrecognizable from its 20 year vintage. Socially it has changedalmost unbelievably to the extent that generation gap is not about between parents andchildren, but even within the generation. Thus, what a 30 year old has seen in his formativeyears is a matter of mere hearsay for a 15 year old! This is what evolution is all about and ithappens almost imperceptibly. Yet, we must be aware of these changes and evolve alongwith the times. Else, we risk being stranded between the past and present and lose out on thefuture! This is one reason why I have tried to keep pace with the onslaught of time – always ready forits relentless march – yet ensuring that I don't resist it, but adapt to it so that I do not getisolated in a world that has no place for misfits today. The difference between misery andsolace, sorrow and happiness is all about how we respond to changes in our lives. Once welearn to understand that change is the only constant and reconcile to it, rather than resignourselves to it, we would have won the battle and come out supreme! My advice to the young in age, and young at heart, always is to learn to make the most of theopportunities for growth which are now available in plenty as compared to a few years agoand to give 'change' a new meaning, by making it happen, rather than allowing it to dictateterms for you to adhere. Experience the immense satisfaction and happiness you get out ofbeing able to successfully negotiate and win over change at every stage of life.I wish all the best to my young friends.Dr. Tarita ShankarFounder Secretary - SCESChairperson - Indira Group of Institutes4

AnubhutiEditorialAnubhuti enters into Eight year with this publication, a budding tender plant flourishing intoa self-contendingtree grounded firmly into the past and solidifying the future. The NAACpeer team also appreciated editorial team for their creative work which provides platform tostaff members and students to showcase their hidden talent. The editorial board like everyyear went through a stupendous task of selecting and finalizing the best of the best creativematerial for the magazine. We are overwhelmed with the humongous response both by thestudents and the staff members with their drafts.“When you write more and more personal it becomes more and more universal.”Writing is an act of reacting to the environment around you. An expression is a basic instinctof thoughtful mind and the act of writing is one of the fountain head of ideas that springs intopoem or article. The writing comes to life when it meets its reader. Students are mostenthusiastic budding creative expressionist who just need a platform to throw their ideas andemotions on the paper. A college magazine is there to capitulate all those expressions for thetasteful readers. “Anubhuti” is one of the most eagerly awaited moment for students, staffand all those associated with Indira family. The college magazine which showcases theliterary expressions, social awareness and recognition to all the achievers in the academic andextracurricular activities, strengthens the internal bonding amongst the Indiraites as onefamily. We tried our best to accommodate all the deserving articles and poems into the magazinehope this seventh edition of Anubhuti will set the bar higher with its interesting and novelmaterial which will certainly astonish the reader. We would be delighted to receive yourvaluable feedback for motivation and self-retrospection.Editorial Committee MembersDr. Anjali KalkarDr. Janardan PawarAsst. Prof. Shilpa PawarAsst.
