The staff is working hard to ensure thatthe transition from School and colleges to AIIMS, Jodhpur is hassle free. Please pay attention tothe following instructions so as to ensure a smooth admission process.1. At the AIIMS Jodhpur Desk at the counseling centre, you need to submit the admissionfees of Rs 5356/- (Five Thousand three hundred and fifty six only). Ensure that you takea proper receipt of the fees paid and keep it securely. This should be brought to theInstitute at the time of admission.2. You need to report on 30th Jul 2013 between 9:00 AM to 1: 00 PM on the followingaddress: Mr. Manish Kumar Srivastava,Administrative OfficerMedical College CampusAll India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)Basni Industrial Area Phase 2, Jodhpur 342005Phone – 0291- 2740329/2740532Email – entrance@aiimsjodhpur.edu.inPlease note that Institute shall not reimburse any expenditure incurred by you onaccount of travel and maintenance in connection with you joining the Institute.3. Medical Examination – to be held at AIIMS, Jodhpur by a Medical Board dulyconstituted for the purpose. Dates – 30th and 31st July 2013. You may please note that ifyou are found medically unfit then you will not be admitted to the course. The decisionof Director/Medical Board shall be final.4. You are required to furnish separate affidavits by you and parents/guardian on a nonjudicial stamp paper of Rs 10/-. Copies of the specimen are enclosed as per Annexure-1and 2.

5. At the time of joining the course, you are required to furnish the undertaking ofauthenticity of documents, as per the enclosed format (Annexure – 3).6. You are required to bring the following certificates and documents in original at thetime of joining a. Certificate of having passed the 10 2 or equivalent examinations, showing thesubjects offered by you in the examination.b. Date of Birth Certificate/Certificates from the Board from which you passed thehigh school/Higher secondary examination showing your date of birth.c. Certificate/Mark Sheet from the Board from which you passed the 10 2 orequivalent examination, showing that you have secured 60% marks or above inaggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic)and Biology (Botany and Zoology). In case of Scheduled castes/ Scheduled tribecandidates, you have secured 50% marks or above in aggregate in the subjects ofEnglish, Physics, Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) and Biology (Botany andZoology).d. Migration Certificate from the University/Board last attended by you.e. Certificate from the prescribed authority on the prescribed form as appended inthe prospectus showing that you belong to Scheduled Caste/Tribe/OrthopedicPhysically Handicapped Category (Applicable only if you have claimed in yourapplication that you belong to a Scheduled Caste/Tribe/Orthopedic PhysicallyHandicapped Category.f. Declaration of the Candidate with regards to Other Backward Class and CreamyLayers (Applicable only if you have claimed in your application that you belong toOther Backward Classes (OBC)) (Annexure 4)g. Current passport size photograph (front pose) – 20 copiesh. Receipt of the admission fees paid at the time of counseling7. Hostel - It is mandatory for the student to stay in the hostel during the tenure of thecourse. The students are advised to apply for accommodation on 30th Jul 2013. TheInstitute shall strive to provide accommodation on the day of reporting.a. Following articles and furniture is being provided in a Single Occupancy Room atthe Boys and Girls Hosteli. Hard Bed with Storage along with Mattress and a Pillowii. Study table along with chair and a stooliii. Inbuilt Iron Almirah, ceiling fan and electrical fittings like tubelight etcb. Students are advised to bring/arrange following useful items at their own toensure a comfortable stayi. Utensils like water jug, tumbler/jar, plastic bucketii. Two Locks (One each for the main door and the almirah)8. Mess Facility – Mess facilities are available in the Residential campus. The mess chargefor the whole year needs to be paid in full at the time of Admission.a. Mess Charges for the whole year – Rs 52560/- (Rupees Fifty Two thousand fivehundred and sixty only) at the rate of Rs 4380/- per month.9. Dress Code –

a. Wearing a White Doctor’s Apron with logo of the Institute is mandatory duringthe classes and academic activities. There will be a provision of a tailor at theInstitute on 30th and 31st Jul. The students may contact the tailor for the same.Approximate cost of the Apron would be about Rs 750/-. Those students whowish to get their aprons elsewhere may do so as per the specifications below.b. The specifications of Doctor’s Apron are as follows –i. Full sleevesii. Length covering 2/3rd of thigh with two front lower pockets and one leftside chest pocket with AIIMS Jodhpur Logo.c. Dress code for students during college hours and academic activities is formal.Sneakers, Slippers, Jeans, T-Shirts are not allowed during working hours.10. Ragging – Ragging is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the campus and anystudent found indulging in ragging will be punished strictly according to the prevailingrules and may include rustication of the student.11. Academic Session and classes will start from 1st Aug 2013.12. The Recommended list of books, stationary and equipment required for the subjects ofthe 1st Professional are also attached (Annexure 5).
