PREFACEDear Parent/ Guardian:This Teach at Home Guide is your teaching manual for the Learnat Home workbooks—a compilation of five major subjects containinglessons and activities to study within a span of ten weeks while yourchild is at home and schools are closed.Through this guide, you can help your child learn some basicoperations, concepts, and processes under the subjects of English,Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, Math, and Science.It includes a walkthrough of the different features of eachworkbook, that you can explain to your child. A matrix is also laid outto identify the different learning competencies that are found in theworkbooks. These competencies are prescribed by the Department ofEducation’s K-12 program.Lessons and activities in the workbooks are labeled when theycan be used per week, but do encourage your child to learn at theirown pace.
