The mixer attachment will allow youto make soups, vegetable purees and pulps whilethe whisk attachment is ideal for making pancakebatter, mayonnaise, beaten egg whites, chocolatemousse, butter sauces, whipped cream or smoothfromage frais.The variable speed function will enable you toadjust the speed to suit each preparation and tostart the processing at a lower speed in order toreduce splashing.The power mixer is easily assembled and disassembled for maintenance and cleaning.OPERATING THE POWER MIXER62nd notcheBefore connecting themachine, connect necessarily thepower cord tothe machine.(see oppositeFirst Notchepicture)Make sure that the grip of the power cord is pushedwell (it is necessary to cross necessarily 2 notches ofthe grip, if it is not the case it will be impossible toput on the control button.The power mixer is equipped with electrical currentand temperature overload protection. If the powermixer stops unexpectedly you may try to restart itby following steps 3-5 below. If the power mixerdoes not restart, allow it to cool for a period of upto 30 minutes and the temperature overload willautomatically reset. You should then be able torestart following steps 3-5 below.1. Check that the control button(CB) is in the released position.2. Connect the cord to thepower supplyVSSBCBLB3. Put the tube into the productwith the bell completelyimmersed and the splashguard in place.4. Press and hold down thesafety button (SB).5. Press the control button (CB)and the power mixer will start. OPERATION6. Release the safety button(SB).The machine is supplied with a single-phasemoulded plug.7. To stop the power mixer, release the controlbutton (CB). CONTINUOUS OPERATION8. Follow steps 1-6 above,then : While the control button (CB) is pressed, press thelocking button (LB).9. Release the control button(CB).10. Release the lockingbutton (LB), and the powermixer will run continuously.11. To stop the powermixer, press and release thecontrol button (CB).SBCBLBMOTORHOUSINGTUBESPLASHGUARDBELL VARIABLE-SPEED OPERATIONFollow steps 1 to 6 above, then change the speedof the motor by turning the button (VS) toward themaximum or minimum as required.It is advisable to start at a low speed when using thewhisk.Principal of automatic speed regulation : Once youhave selected the right speed, allow the mixer to runon it’s own. The speed will remain the same, even ifthe consistency of the product changes. MASHED POTATOES FUNCTION(MP 350 Turbo Combi, MP 450 Turbo Combi,MP 450 Turbo FW).A self-regulating speed systemhas been specially developped forpureeing tasks using the whisk.

2) The power mixer canbe rested against the rimof the container but mustbe tilted so that it doesnot touch the bottom ofthe container.4) The splashguard should always be in place.5) For optimum efficiency two thirds 2/3 of the tubeshould be immersed in the product.6) Always make sure that the bell is completelyimmersed to avoid splashing and that the ventilation openings in the motor housing do not comeinto contact with any liquid ! POWER CORDAfter cleaning the machine,wind the cord around thespecially designed lugs,without stretching it toomuch. This will prolong itslifespan. WHISK FUNCTIONWe recommend that youhold the power mixerby the handle and thebottom of the motor unit.You can also hold theappliance by the handlewith one hand, leavingthe other hand freeto hold the bowl, ifnecessary.MP 800 Turbo.An handle which willhelp you to have a goodgrip and facilitate themoving of the machine.WORKING POSITION BLADE FUNCTION1) Hold the power mixerfirmly by the handle andthe bottom of the motorbase and tilt it at a slightangle. Move the mixeraround in the containerfor complete processing.ENGLISHA white circle marked on the speed variation switchindicates the speed dedicated to mashed potatoespreparation.To reach this speed, turn the knobcounterclockwise until it stops and a slight detent isfelt . Under load the mixer will stop and start at oneseconds intervals.3) If using the powermixer support (optional accessory), on thetop of the container, thepower mixer should bepositioned in the middleof the support and at aslight angle.POWER MIXERON THE PANSUPPORTDo not operate the power mixer with the bellstraight up-and-down against the bottom of thecontainerWhile processing werecommend that youmove the whisk aroundin the bowl, in order toensure that the mixtureis completely homogeneous.We strongly advise youto keep the whisk fromtouching the sides ofthe bowl. For maximumefficiency, at leastone-fifth of the whisklength should be immersed. We also strongly advise you to start theprocessing at a low speed.7

Using the blade di- BLADE FUNCTIONsassembling tool, unscrew the male drive coupling.Attaching the tube to the motor unit,(Except for MP 350 Turbo, MP 450 Turbo,MP 550 Turbo, MP 600 Turbo).As the drive coupling is unscrewed disengage theblade for easy cleaning.- Unplug the power mixer.- Align the flat side of A the conical part of thetube with catch B on the inside of the bell.- Insert the conical part C into the bell. With thewasher touching the tube seal D , turn the bell inthe direction of the arrow (See figure) to lock thebell lug E and tube lug F snugly together.BLADE LOCKINGBLADES WITH WATERTIGHT SEALSBELLDisassembling the bell from the tubeTURN TO REMOVE BELL8- Unplug the power mixer.- Unplug the machine then, align the flat side of Athe conical part C of the tube with catch B in thealuminum casing.- Insert the narrow portion of conical part C of thetube into the aluminum casing.- Turn the tube in the direction of the arrow (seefigure) until it is snugly in place.MALE DRIVING COUPLINGBLADE REMOVAL

Fitting the whisk into the whisk gearbox(MP 350 Turbo Combi, MP 450 Turbo Combi,MP 450 Turbo FW)Removing the whisk from the whisk gearboxWhile griping theejector A in onehand and the holderB in the other, pullthe ejector in thedirection of the arrow.Attaching the whisk gearbox to the motor unit- Unplug the power mixer.- Align the flat side A of the conical part C of thewhisk gearbox with the catch B on the inside ofthe aluminum casing.BENGLISH WHISK FUNCTIONA- Insert the conical part C of the whisk gearboxinto the aluminum casing.Removing the ejector- Turn the whisk gearbox in the direction of thearrow (see figure) until it is snugly locked intoplace.Hold the whisk by thewires B in one hand.With the other hand,pull the ejector A in thedirection of the arrow(see figure).Removing the gearbox- Unplug the power mixer.- Turn the whisk gearbox in the opposite directionfrom that used to attach it.- When it will go no further, remove the whiskgearbox from the aluminum casing.- Grasp the holder in one hand.- With the other hand, take the first whisk andinsert the shaft A into the bore B of the whiskgearbox drive shaft. Make sure the drive lugs Dare properly aligned with the notches. MIXING TOOL FUNCTION(MP 450 Turbo FW XL)ATTACHING THE MIXING TOOL TO THE MIXINGTOOL HOUSING:- As you push the whisk into the holder drive shaftC , rotate it slightly in order to slide the drive lugsinto the notches D of the drive shaft C , therebylocking the whisk into place inside the shaft.Mixing toolhousingMixing tool- To check that the whisk is properly fixed inside theshaft C , gently pull the metal wires.- Repeat this procedure with the second whisk. Ifyou cannot push it in properly, remove it, rotate it90 and start again.Line the flat side of the mixing toolflat side of the housing A .Bup with the9

Once the mixing tool has been attached to the THE MOTOR HOUSINGComplete cleaning procedure on a daily basishousing, simply insert the latter into the motor unit,The power mixer must be clean through all stagesof production. Clean between each job using adetergent or disinfectant. Dilute the detergent /disinfectant following the instructions normallyspecified on it’s packaging container. Use a clothlightly dampened (not dripping) with the cleaningsolution.- Unplug the power mixer and rinse the bell under awater tap.turning it in an anticlockwise direction.DETACHING THE MIXING TOOL FROM ITSHOUSING:Mixing toolhousingMixing toolCTo release the mixing tool from its housing, simplypress the buttonC. All that then remains to bedone is to remove the housing from the motor unit.CLEANINGWA R N I N G Always unplug the power mixer beforecleaning it! Always dilute bleach according to theinstructions on the label Never run the motor assembly through adish machine. The type and concentration of the sanitationagent must comply with 21 CFR 178 1010regulations. Clean according to local health departmentregulations.10Do not allow liquid to come into contact withthe electrical components contained within thehousing. Be careful when cleaning around ventsdo not allow liquid to drip or seep into thehousing. Use a cloth lightly dampened (not dripping) with water to remove detergent / disinfectantthen dry using a clean cloth.After using the power mixer in a hot mixture,cool the bottom of the tube in cold water beforedisassembling the bell from the tube.Clean immediately after use to prevent product fromsticking to surfaces.WA RNINGNever immerse motor housing and/or handlein liquid! The housing contains the electricalcomponents and is not sealed against liquid.Contact with liquid can cause damage to theblender and serious injury to the operator. THE TUBE AND BELLThere are two ways to proceed: Simple cleaning procedure after each different use- Submerge the tube and bell in water and run for afew seconds to clean.- Unplug the power cord.- Remove the bell from the tube, then remove theblade (wear cutting gloves) ! Be careful to avoiddamaging the surface of the blade shaft and thewatertight seals.- Always dilute the detergent/disinfectant (seeabove).- Thoroughly dry all parts before reassembling. BLADEThe blade can be removed from the bell forthorough cleaning.Always dry thoroughly to avoid spotting. ALUMINUMUse soft-metal-safe cleaning agents! PLASTICBe careful, many cleaning agents are corrosive andare not safe for use on plastics!Do not use strong alkaline detergent (having a highconcentration of soda or ammonia). WHISK GEARBOXNever immerse the whisk gearbox in water. Clean itwith a cloth lightly dampened (not dripping).Never run the whisk gearbox through a dishwasher. WHISKSThe whisks can be cleaned either by hand or in adishwasher.To ensure effective cleaning, always remove thewhisk ejector.
