TENDER ADVERTINVITATION FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE OF FIRE EQUIPMENT FORUMGUNGUNDLOVU DISTRICT MUNICIPALITYTENDER NO. 39/2020UMgungundlovu District Municipality seeks professional service providers for the servicing of fire extinguishers,hose reels and fire detectors located within the offices of the Municipality, situated at 242 Langalibalele Street, 176Langalibalele Street and the various customer care centres and satellite offices within the uMgungundlovu DistrictMunicipal area of jurisdiction for a period of three years.Tender documents can be downloaded from the eTender publication portal at www.etenders.gov.za oralternatively can be collected from offices of the Cashier at the uMgungundlovu District Municipality, 242Langalibalele Street, Pietermaritzburg. If tenders are collected, a non-refundable tender deposit of R150.00 ispayable to the uMgungundlovu District Municipality. A bidder/s that scores less than 60 points out of 100 in respect of functionality will be regarded as submitting anon-responsive bid and will be disqualified. Thereafter the 80/20 Preference Points system will be applicable, with80 points for price and 20 points for B-BBEE Status Level of Contribution as prescribed in terms of the PreferentialProcurement Regulations 2017.Tenders must be registered with the South African Qualification and Certification Committee (SAQCC). Also tendersmust be registered with FPA - Fire Protection Association. Tenders as well as must be registered with FFETA - FireFighting Equipment Trade Association. Proof of registration/s must be submitted with the bid submission, andfailure to do so will result in disqualification of the bid.Tenders must comply with the SANS 10400-T (South African National Standard.
