August 26, 2020COUNTY ASSEMBLY DEBATES35Honourable, my Colleague if you go to the Society of Clerks at Table Kenya(SOCCAT) model County Assembly Committee Manual this is a core Committee manual2018, (34) it indicates discharge of a Member from a Committee and states that, 'theAssembly nominated a Member to a Select Committee may give notice in writing to theSpeaker that the Member is to be discharged from a Select Committee, the discharge of aMember takes an effect upon the receipt of the Speaker of the Notice, any vacancy occasionedby resignation or removal for a Member in a Select Committee should be filled in 14 days ofthe vacancy' , that is Committee manual document. Prayers this week Prayers for Becky Arblaster, Julie Powell's neighbor, for her continued cancer treatments. Ed Ford is now back home and could use continued prayers for him. Benjamin Irwin who was a student and was coming to church a few years ago is fighting cancer now and could use a lot of prayers as he goes through radiation every day.
