Products introductionHush Acoustics have developed anextensive product range that willoffer solutions to all acousticproblems within the UK BuildingIndustry.We have developed many floating floor products that range inthickness and performance criteria depending on the application.Our floating floor products include commonly used products likeHush Panel 17 and Hush Panel 28 and then more bespoke productslike the Hush Cem Panel 28 and our Hush Panel Premier 48. Checkout the full range of floating flooring in the floating floor section ofthe products half of the brochure.Still classed as floating flooring, cradle and batten acoustic flooring is arecognised method of installing an acoustic floor whilst creating a voidover the structure at the same time. This void is used to run servicesor to level out the structural floor if needed. Hush have a unique easyto install cradle that is quick to install without needing to use fiddlypackers to build up levels.We have developed underlay products so that we have a solutionfor whatever the floor finish may be. This allows Hush to offersolutions to isolate floor finishes like carpet, timber flooring(engineered timber floor, solid timber flooring and parquet) andvinyl flooring.The joist infill section within the products part of the brochuredetails the Hush range of products that can be used to reducesound transmission within the structure. We have a traditionalpugging product called Hush Fill 60, still used a lot in Scotlandand within existing Edwardian and Georgian type buildings.We then have a mineral fibre insulation called Hush SlabSound Absorber. All the Hush Systems within the brochure willincorporate one of these joist infill materials.We have four resilient bar solutions that create a decouplingeffect for a ceiling or wall lining which reduces the passage ofsound and we have also developed high mass ceiling and wallboards that can be used on these resilient bars to improve onstandard plasterboard performances.Within our Acoustic Rubber Materials we have over and underscreed materials, barrier mat materials, underlay products andour highest impact reducing product in Hush Mat 15. HushMat 15 has been designed as an underlay to go directly underengineered timber flooring.The most recent range of products to be designed by Hushis our Absorber Range. The upper layer of moisture resistant MDF provides auniformly smooth surface for application of floor finishes.Hush Panel 23 has been designed as a thin overlay solution to reduceimpact sound through concrete and other masonry structures. Masonryconstructions achieve good levels of airborne sound reduction due to theirmass but will fail the impact performance criteria set out in the BuildingRegulations without a suitable acoustic floor deck. The combination ofthe Hush Slab 30 resilient layer to the underside and high density upperlayer offers excellent acoustic qualities.
