BULLETIN 5-3 — Page 3SOS Wholesaler Expediting ProgramTwo types of expediting requests are available as shownin Table 1. The Emergency Breakdown Order (EBO)expedite category is for items that ship in 2 days or less.The EBO order is limited to a maximum quantity of 3pieces per item, and there will be an expediting premiumof 25% added to the invoice for this service. The RushOrder expedite category is for items that ship in 6 daysor less but more than 2 days. There will be a 15% premium added to the invoice for the Rush Order service. TheRush Order is limited to the greater of one full case or 25pieces.Parker Sporlan WILL NOT require Next Day or SecondDay air shipment. Please request the shipping methodthat is required to meet your delivery date keeping inmind that transit times may not be guaranteed by thecarrier.The expediting premiums will show up as a separate lineitem on the order acknowledgments and invoices. Thisensures standard costs are not affected, and also make iteasier to reconcile the expedite premium with the particular part in question.Please Note: The expedite premiums are automatedand are calculated based on request date versus orderdate. Accumulatorsand ReceiversPage 4 — BULLETIN 5-3Accumulators and ReceiversType VA, PA, and VPA, Series Accumulators have a primary purpose to catch and holdany unused portion of the system charge. The device must also prevent liquid slugging of thecompressor and excessive refrigerant dilution of the compressor oil. They must return refrigerantand oil to the compressor at a sufficient rate.
