Make sure the slot inthe bolt is centered in the hole.Slot iscenteredin the hole.No changeneeded.Make sure theword “TOP” isfacing up.Twist thefaceplate toextend.Actual SizeKeeptwistinguntil 2 ¾”.

step3Is it hard to install the touchscreen?Is the tailpiece not installing correctly?If the hole through your door seemstoo small, you may need to remove thespacer. See the online instructions.Install the touchscreen.Route the cable through the door BELOW the bolt. Align thetailpiece as shown and push the touchscreen onto the door.The bump on thetailpiece alignswith the slot in thebolt.

Secure the backplate with screws.PTOActual Size (2)Hold the touchscreenon the outside ofthe door while youtighten the screws.Make surethat “TOP”is facingout.

step5Take off the battery cover.

step6Connect the cable.The connector fitsonly one way.

step7Secure the lock to the door.If the bump on the tailpiece doesn’t align with the slot in theback of the inside assembly, make sure your thumbturn is vertical(up and down). Tuck the wire into the channel.Tuckwire.Align bump ontailpiece with notch.

step9Install batteries and slide the cover on. -- -

step10Set up your lock.1. Open your door!2. Enter one of the two default usercodes.The codes are located on the backof this guide and on the back ofthe inside assembly. You need toremove the inside assembly to seethe label.3. Your lock will enter a setup routine.When the bolt stops moving, setupis complete.

step11Need Help?If the bolt doesn’t extend orretract during testing, see theonline instructions and make surespindle is aligned properly.Test your lock.1. Close your door.2. Extend and retract the bolt using the inside thumbturn.3. Make sure the bolt retracts smoothly. If it doesn’t your doorand frame may not be aligned.4. Open your door.5. Extend the bolt using the inside thumbturn.6. Now enter a user code at the touchscreen to check that thebolt retracts.

step12Enroll your lock.1. Place your smart home system orpanel into enrollment mode (seedocumentation for that device fordetails).2. Remove the battery cover.3. Press then release button.4. A yellow flashing light indicatesenrollment is in progress.5. A solid green light indicatessuccessful enrollment.LL A red light indicatesan enrollment issue, tryrepeating steps 1-3.

Lock and unlockTo lock your door justlogo.tap theYou can also lock your door byentering a user code while the dooris closed or by turning the thumbturntoward the door edge.To unlock your doorenter a user code.You can also unlock your door frominside by turning the thumbturn awayfrom the door edge.

Add and delete codes1PressEnter The lock supports user codesbetween 4 and 8 digits and is setto a default length of 4 digits.(6 digits) The first 4 - 6 digits must bedifferent from the first 4 - 6 digitsof the programming code.2ProgrammingCode345Chooseand press:Enter the usercode you’dlike to add ordelete.Enter thatcode again.addordeleteindicatessuccessadd or delete anotheruser code

Factory default resetIf you have forgotten your programming code, you can restore thedefault codes. If you want to move the lock to a different door, youneed to restore default settings. Move the lock to the new door,and then set it up again.1. Disconnectyour batteries.2. Press and holddown thelogo.While you are pushingthe logo, reconnectyour batteries.3. Test your lockwith one of yourdefault codes,located on theback of thisguide.Now setup yourlock, see:step10
