The scope of servicesinvolves level of intervention (primary, secondary and tertiary) andorganization and management of services. Included are strategiesfor needs assessment, program design and program evaluation.Various models of consultation, supervision, and advocacy areexamined.Consultation is too often a neglected component of the counselingprofession and of counselor education programs. Sometimes,students conclude that real “clinical practice" is the only legitimateprofessional expression of counseling skills. This course isdesigned to challenge that perception.
