The Loud Cry of the Third AngelGod’s People Called OutThe true people of God who are still in Babylon (false Christianity) will becalled out by the voice of God. This will be the last separation and it will bethe final and complete fulfillment of the words of Jesus in John 10:16.“And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I mustbring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and oneshepherd.” John 10:16.The Seal Of God Versus The Mark Of The BeastThe final gospel message will divide the entire world into two classes by thetime probation closes. The final generation of living saints will receive theseal of the living God as described in Revelation 7:1-4. The final generationof the living unsaved will receive the “mark of the beast” as described inRevelation 13:11-18.The Obedience Of Faith Versus The Disobedience Of UnbeliefRighteousness by faith means heart obedience to God’s immutable morallaw through abiding in Christ!“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandmentsof God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12.“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch inme that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that bearethfruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are cleanthrough the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I inyou. And ifwe consent, He will so identify Himself with our thoughts and aims, so blend ourhearts and minds into conformity to His will, that when obeying Him we shall bebut carrying out our own impulses. The will, refined and sanctified, will find itshighest delight in doing His service. When we know God as it is our privilege toknow Him, our life will be a life of continual obedience. Through an appreciationof the character of Christ, through communion with God, sin will become hatefulto us.” DA 668.The seventh-day Sabbath of the fourth commandment will be the greattest of loyalty. Obedience or disobedience is the question that will makethe dividing line between the people of God and the people of Satan.There will neither be any neutral ground nor any pleasant alternatives. Themoment of final decision will have arrived!The Close Of ProbationWhen every single mind shall have been made up then will occur thegeneral closure of human probation according to Revelation 22:11-12.“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let himbe filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and hethat is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and myreward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”Revelation 22:11-12.The Investigative Judgment Of The LivingChrist, our High Priest, will blot out the sins of His living remnant electand their names will be retained in the Book of Life.“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”Acts 3:19.“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standethfor the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, suchas never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at thattime thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found writtenin the book.” Daniel 12:1.

The Loud Cry of the Third Angel“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are notwritten in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of theworld.” Revelation 13:8.This will complete the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary which startedin the autumn of 1844 at the end of the 2300 day-years of Daniel 8:14.This work of cleansing the heavenly sanctuary has been inordinately andembarrassingly delayed by the lukewarmness of God’s professed people.But at last a true remnant by faith, will claim and experience full victoryover sin.The Greatest Work In History Apart From CalvaryThose who will be chosen by God to give the final warning message, as wellas those who obey the call to come out of Babylon, will participate in themost important work ever given to mere human mortals!“As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict,‘the time of Jacob’s trouble,’ they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largelyof his Spirit. As the third message swells to a loud cry, and as great power andglory attends the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of thatglory. It is the latter rain which revives and strengthens them to pass through thetime of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory of that light which attendsthe third angel.” RH, May 27, 1862.Now Is The Time To Get Qualified For Loud Cry MinistryEvery kind of work requires certain specific qualifications and skills. God’sfinal work will require His chosen servants to be fully qualified andequipped spiritually, mentally and physically. Those who fail to prepareare preparing to fail!“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but alsoof wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If aman therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every goodwork.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.“Those who endeavor to obey all the commandments of God will be opposedand derided. They can stand only in God. In order to endure the trial beforethem, they must understand the will of God as revealed in His word; they can

None but those who havefortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last greatconflict. To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather thanmen? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rockof God’s immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of thecommandments of God and the faith of Jesus?“Before His crucifixion the Saviour explained to His disciples that He was to be putto death and to rise again from the tomb, and angels were present to impressHis words on minds and hearts. But the disciples were looking for temporaldeliverance from the Roman yoke, and they could not tolerate the thought thatHe in whom all their hopes centered should suffer an ignominious death. Thewords which they needed to remember were banished from their minds; andwhen the time of trial came, it found them unprepared. The death of Jesus as fullydestroyed their hopes as if He had not forewarned them. So in the propheciesthe future is opened before us as plainly as it was opened to the disciples bythe words of Christ. The events connected with the close of probation and thework of preparation for the time of trouble, are clearly presented. But multitudeshave no more understanding of these important truths than if they had neverbeen revealed. Satan watches to catch away every impression that would makethem wise unto salvation, and the time of trouble will find them unready.”GC 593-594.Completing The ReformationThe loud cry will complete the Protestant Reformation which commencedin the sixteenth century but became spiritually dead even before 1798.The great Advent Movement, from 1831 to the middle of the nineteenthcentury, had also made an excellent start but became lukewarm by 1859.The 1888 “righteousness by faith” message which was sent to revive thethird angel’s movement was so opposed and resisted that lukewarmnesshas persisted throughout the whole of the twentieth century and now intothe start of the twenty first century.But at last the true gospel, revealing the true character of God, willproduce a victorious remnant who will complete the Reformation.

And this is the deeper meaning of the “cleansing” of the heavenlysanctuary. God’s government will stand vindicated and victorious in theface of all of Satan’s charges.The loud cry servants will understand and experience the character ofGod and the principles of His government.“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neitherlet the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in hisriches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandethand knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness,judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight,saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 9:23-24.“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, andJesus Christ, whom thou hast sent 23 I in them, and thou in me, that theymay be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hastsent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” John 17:3, 23.10

The Loud Cry of the Third AngelThe Three Basic Requirements1. Genuine ConversionThe first basic requirement is that you must be a citizen of God’s kingdomby spiritual birth. In other words you must be born again! Your namemust have been entered into the Book of Life.“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born ofwater and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 Thatwhich is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit isspirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 Thewind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, butcanst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one thatis born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-8.“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which iscorrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit ofyour mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is createdin righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24.And remember genuine conversion includes repentance, confessionand surrender!“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said untoPeter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you inthe name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive thegift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:37-38.“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not inus. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, andto cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned,we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10.2. The Mind Must Be Fortified With The Truth“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17.The third basic requirement is that you must be thoroughly grounded inthe truths of the third angel’s message. While this includes all the basicdoctrines of true Christianity, it is essentially the experience of righteousnessby faith which produces heart-obedience to all the commandments of God.This includes seventh-day Sabbath rest as the seal of God’s holy law.“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into alltruth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, thatshall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” John 16:13.“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that isentered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God didfrom his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fallafter the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:9-11.“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war withthe remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and havethe testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17.Will Your Application Be Considered?Failure to meet these three basic requirements means that you cannot evenbe considered for any post in the primary loud cry ministry. Only if yousatisfy these three basic requirements can your application be considered!However in order to qualify to be one of the primary loud cry messengersthere is a critically important advanced requirement!13

But in order to qualify you must have reached the stageof growth called the “ear” by Jesus in Mark 4:26-29.“And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed intothe ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seedshould spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringethforth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full cornin the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puttethin the sickle, because the harvest is come.” Mark 4:26-29.“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Sonof God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulnessof Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro,and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, andcunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking thetruth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, evenChrist: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compactedby that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working inthe measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifyingof itself in love.” Ephesians 4:13-16.“Progression, not stagnation, is the law of heaven. Progression is the law of everyfaculty of mind and body. The things of nature obey this law. In the field thereis seen first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. In the spirituallife, as in the physical life, there is to be growth. Step by step we are to advance,ever receiving and imparting, ever gaining a more complete knowledge ofChrist, daily approaching more closely the measure of the stature of the fulnessof Christ.“The Christian is first a babe in Christ. Then he becomes a child. Constantly he is tomake advancement proportionate to the opportunities and privileges grantedhim. Ever he is to remember that he is not his own, that he has been bought witha price, and that he must make the best possible use of the talents entrusted tohim. Even in the infancy of his spiritual understanding, the Christian is to do hisbest, making steady advancement toward the higher, holier life. He is to realizethat he is a laborer together with God. He is to notice the way in which God14

The Loud Cry of the Third Angelworks, and then strive to attain to the possibilities held out to him, saying, ‘I cando all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’ (Phil 4:13) He is never tobecome self-sufficient, but is to count all things but loss for the excellency ofthe knowledge of Christ Jesus his Lord. He is to walk and work in the Saviour’scompanionship. As he does this, his faith will increase. Constantly beholdingChrist, he will be changed into the same image from character to character.”RH, May 9, 1907.“There is to be ‘first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.’ Theremust be a constant development of Christian virtue, a constant advancement inChristian experience. This we should seek with intensity of desire, that we mayadorn the doctrine of Christ our Saviour.” RH, March 2, 1897.The “Ear” And The Latter RainThe early rain of the Holy Spirit carries forward spiritual growth from the“blade” (conversion) to the “ear.” The latter rain then fills out the “ears”and ripens the grain.“At no point in our experience can we dispense with the assistance of that whichenables us to make the first start. The blessings received under the former rainare needful to us to the end. Yet these alone will not suffice. While we cherish theblessing of the early rain, we must not, on the other hand, lose sight of the factthat without the latter rain, to fill out the ears and ripen the grain, the harvestwill not be ready for the sickle, and the labor of the sower will have been in vain.Divine grace is needed at the beginning, divine grace at every step of advance,and divine grace alone can complete the work. There is no place for us to restin a careless attitude. We must never forget the warnings of Christ, ‘Watch untoprayer,’ ‘Watch and pray always.’ A connection with the divine agency everymoment is essential to our progress.
