ANZ Rewards – Rewards ProgramTerms and Conditions:When these terms and conditions apply1. If you are a new account holder, these terms andconditions will apply when we advise you that yourapplication to join the program has been successfuland you have activated your card account.Earning Reward Points2 Reward Points are used to determine when youbecome entitled to a reward and can only accrueto account holders. Reward Points do not accrueto additional cardholders and all Reward Pointsearned as a result of spend by an additionalcardholder will accrue to the account holder’spoints record.3. Reward Points accrue daily based on the use ofthe relevant card or card account and will bevisible on your card account up to 5 business daysafter a transaction has been processed by ANZ.4. The number of Reward Points you could earn perdollar spent may vary according to the type ofCard you have (including whether the Card is yourANZ Rewards American Express Card or your ANZRewards Visa Card). ANZ will advise you in writingof the number of Reward Points you could earnper dollar spent at the time of opening your cardaccount and at any time where the number ofReward Points you could earn per dollar spentdecreases. If at any time the number of RewardPoints you could earn per dollar spent increases,ANZ is not required to provide advice of this inwriting. Call 13 22 73 for the number of RewardPoints you currently earn per dollar spent. RewardPoints earned are subject to the exclusions set outin clauses 5, 7 and 8.

13–145. For ANZ Rewards Visa PAYCARD accounts,Reward Points and Bonus Reward Points will onlybe earned on purchases using the 16 digit card/account number. Points and Bonus Points will notbe earned when the nine digit account numberlisted on the reverse of the PAYCARD is used toprocess the transaction.6. You may earn Bonus Reward Points by using yourcard or card account to purchase qualifying goodsand services from a Bonus Partner, subject to thelimitations in clauses 5, 7 and 8. The number ofBonus Reward Points you will receive from a BonusPartner will be specified on anzrewards.com7. You will not earn Reward Points on interestcharges; government charges; bank fees; cashadvances (as defined in the ANZ Credit CardsConditions of Use) and card account adjustmentsresulting from disputed transactions.8. You will not earn Reward Points if your cardaccount is suspended or if you breach or anyadditional cardholder breaches these terms andconditions or the ANZ Credit Cards Conditionsof Use.9. When you or an additional cardholder obtain arefund, a reimbursement for charges previouslyincurred (for example for returned merchandise)or a chargeback is made to your card account, theReward Points accrued to your card account willreduce by the applicable amount. The number ofReward Points deducted from your card accountwill be calculated by reference to the rate at whichyou were earning Reward Points at the time thereimbursement was processed by ANZ.Reward Points are not property10. Reward Points may not be transferred or sold.11. Reward Points are not property, have no monetaryvalue, are not convertible and can only be used toclaim rewards. There will be no refunds for RewardPoints that are not used to claim a reward.

Points expiry12 Reward Points must be used to claim a rewardwithin 36 months of 31 December of the year inwhich the Reward Point were added to a pointsrecord. Reward Points that remain unused afterthat period will be cancelled.13. In the event your card account is closed, anyReward Points that remain unused must be usedwithin 60 days of the date of closure. RewardPoints that remain unused after that period willbe cancelled.14. In the event the Program is terminated, we willnotify you of termination and any claim for areward must be made within 90 days of the dateof termination.15. We may also cancel Reward Points at our solediscretion if you die, if your card account issuspended, if you breach or any additionalcardholder breaches these terms and conditionsor the ANZ Credit Cards Conditions of Use or if wereasonably suspect you are operating your cardaccount fraudulently.Rewards statement16. You will receive a rewards statement quarterly ifthere has been activity on your points record inthe prior quarter or you have Reward Points dueto expire in the current quarter. ANZ may vary thefrequency and format of the rewards statementwithout notice. If you successfully register toreceive rewards eStatements, paper rewardsstatements will not be sent to you for your ANZRewards account. If you de-register from receivingrewards eStatements ANZ will recommencesending quarterly paper rewards statements.17. Reward Points used to claim a reward will bededucted from your points record at the timewe receive your request to claim a reward. Theadjustment will be reflected in your next rewardsstatement.

15–16Rewards18. Rewards and the number of Reward Pointsrequired to claim a reward are set out onanzrewards.com19. Special terms and conditions may apply toindividual rewards and they will be advised to youon anzrewards.com or by notice from ANZ.Claiming rewards20. Only the account holder may claim rewards.Additional cardholders are not entitled to claimrewards.21. Your entitlement to claim rewards is based on thepoints record in relation to your card account. Ifyour card account is in arrears, suspension ordefault, no rewards will be claimable.22. You may use the option of Points Plus Pay’ toredeem selected rewards. This means that you useReward Points and also pay a monetary amountby debiting your card. Your Rewards Guide andanzrewards.com will outline rewards for whichyou can use this option. Alternatively, call theANZ Rewards Centre on 1300 367 763 for moreinformation.23. The procedure for claiming rewards is set out inthe Introducing ANZ Rewards guide. All rewardsare subject to availability and substitutions maybe necessary.24. Before seeking to claim a reward, you shouldreview the rewards on anzrewards.com25. Rewards cannot be taken by pooling of RewardPoints by persons with different card accounts.26. Unless we advise otherwise, rewards cannot bereturned for Reward Points to a points record,cashed in or exchanged. Rewards also cannot bereplaced if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed.27. Unless we advise in writing otherwise, rewards willnot be delivered to an address outside Australia.

Changes to rewards and these terms and conditions28. We may change the Rewards Guide at any time.If any change affects Reward Points alreadyaccumulated you will be notified at least 30 daysbefore that change takes effect.29. Bonus Partners also have the right to make changesat any time without notice to the goods or serviceswhich are qualifying goods or services and thenumber of Bonus Reward Points that you will receiveas a result of acquiring those goods or services.Bonus Partners may change without notice.30. We may at any time and in our discretion withoutnotice withdraw, limit, modify, cancel or increasethe continued availability of any reward or thenumber of Reward Points required to claim aparticular reward.31. We may change or amend these terms andconditions at any time. You will be notified inwriting of changes to terms and conditions atleast 30 days before that change takes effect.What we are not liable for32. Except as provided in any law which cannotlawfully be excluded or modified by agreementwe: make no warranties or representations eitherexpress or implied and expressly disclaim anyand all liabilities (including for consequentialdamages) with respect to type, quality, standardor fitness or suitability for any purpose ofthe rewards; are not responsible for the loss, theft ordestruction of rewards; do not accept any liability with respect to anyloss arising from the supply of a reward;

17–18 are not liable for any delay or inability to provideany rewards caused by circumstances beyondour control including strikes, industrial disputesor acts of God.33. In the event that we are liable for breach of anyterm implied by law, we limit that liability wherewe are entitled to so do to: replacement or repair of the reward or paymentof the cost of replacing or repairing the reward;and supplying the services again or payment of thecost of having the services supplied again.Disputes34 All questions or disputes regarding eligibility forrewards or the eligibility of Reward Points foraccrual or reward will be resolved by us at our solediscretion. All enquiries regarding rewardsstatements must be made within 90 days of thedate of the statement. Otherwise, any questionsor disputes must be brought to our attentionwithin 12 months of the incident first giving rise tothe question or dispute.35. All questions or disputes must be submitted inwriting to the Rewards Centre and, whererelevant, be accompanied by a legible copy of therelevant sales receipt or card account statements.36. If you are not satisfied with our response to yourquestion or dispute, you may access ourcomplaints handling procedure, which is set out inthe ANZ Credit Cards Conditions of Use.General37. If you breach or any additional cardholderbreaches the ANZ Credit Cards Conditions of Useor these terms and conditions, we may suspend orexclude you from participating in the Program.

38. Any tax liability, stamp or other duty or othergovernment charge or reporting requirement inconnection with or on any benefit derived by youfrom the use of a card by you or an additionalcardholder or receipt of a reward is your soleresponsibility.39. Bonus Partners other than ANZ are notresponsible for the management, operation oradministration of the Program.40. You may request further details about theProgram by calling 1300 367 763.41. The Australian Securities and InvestmentsCommission has granted us relief from certainprovisions of the Corporations Act 2001 relatingto managed investments and non-cash paymentfacilities. The relief granted means that theProgram is not required to be registered as amanaged investment scheme or treated as anon-cash payment facility and the licensing,financial services disclosure and productdisclosure provisions do not apply to the Program.Bonus Partner terms and conditions42. Only goods and services purchased in Australia atBonus Partners are eligible for Bonus Reward Points.43. Where a Bonus Partner arranges, organises orbooks a good or service provided by anotherBonus Partner, and you only transact with the firstBonus Partner, Bonus Reward Points will only beearned in respect of your transactions with thefirst mentioned Bonus Partner.Clauses 44 to 53 are deleted.Accommodation54. Bonus Reward Points are not earned on franchisedand external services booked through a hotel andcharged to the card.

19–20ANZ Rewards Diners Club Card55. ANZ Rewards Diners Club Card(a) In this clause:Account, Additional Card, Main Cardholderand Eligible Transaction have the meaninggiven to them in the ANZ Rewards DinersClub Card Terms and Conditions.(b) The Main Cardholder will earn one RewardPoint for every dollar spent on EligibleTransactions made using the ANZ RewardsDiners Club Card, Additional Card or Account.There is no limit to the number of RewardPoints that can be earned and allocated forEligible Transactions.(c) Any Reward Points earned by use of the ANZRewards Diners Club Card, Additional Card orAccount will only be allocated to the MainCardholder’s points record on the conditionthat at the time of the allocation the MainCardholder is not in default or in arrears underthe ANZ Rewards Diners Club Card Terms andConditions. If the Main Cardholder onlypartially satisfies the payment obligations ofthose terms and conditions, Diners Club maychoose not to allocate Reward Points untilthose payment obligations are satisfied in full.(d) Your points record will be adjusted toreflect refunds or reimbursements or othercircumstances that result in a “paymentreversal” being issued to the Account (forexample, because of a dishonoured chequeor direct debit reversal).(e) Reward Points will only be credited to a pointsrecord under this clause if the Main Cardholderalso holds a ANZ Rewards account (or suchother card account as advised by ANZ) whenthe Reward Points are earned and credited.
