Day 14 - Departing Jamboree7/28/2017The ending of jamboree was somewhat enjoyable becauseI missed my house. Also, my family would be glad thatI'm back home. This was the best camp out because mostof the things there that I did I have never done before.Furthermore, the troop that I was in was all friendly andkind, most of them weren't even in my troop. In general, the trip was a once of a lifetime experience.By: Christian ZepedaDay 14 - Departing Jamboree7/28/2017Man, has Jamboree been an awesome adventure. For 14days we have been from Philadelphia seeing the origins ofour country, to DC learning about our nation'sgovernment, all the way to West Virginia to have thecampout of a lifetime. At Jamboree we were able to climba massive 30 feet rock wall, ride a half mile zip line, ridean unforgiving BMX course, swim across a challengingobstacle course, along many other cool activities whichmade this experience awesome. As we grow old we willtell the story to our children and grandchildren of theadventure we embarked on at the National Boy ScoutJamboree. And as we leave the Jamboree to our nextadventure in life, we must also acknowledge and thank allof those who have helped us along the way to get here. Allof our parents, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, teachers and friends who helped us by buying our overexpensive popcorn fundraiser, donating money to us forour birthday and Christmas, guided us through our boyscout!t career, or supported us along the way, we thank you all. This couldn't be possible without you.By: Andrew De Sevilla

Day 14 - Departing Jamboree7/28/2017The jambo was a fun place to have gone to. I loved the ziplines, rifles, mountain biking, and fishing. My favoritething was the shooting. I shot 223 rifle rounds and 22 riflerounds. The only bad thing that happened was the rain. But the shows where great too.By: Josh JensenDay 14 - Departing Jamboree7/28/2017My time at jambo was amazing. I was able to meet kidsfrom Utah, and New York. I made a lot of friends, and Ihad a lot of fun. I was able to go zip lining, and paddleboarding. Jamboree was an amazing experience and I amglad that I was able to go.By: Michael AguilarDay 13 - Jamboree Day 97/27/2017Today was the last day of jambo. I was really lookingforward to going back home the next day but at the sametime I don't want to leave. I tried to do as much activitiesas l could during the day but unfortunately the lightningrestricted me from doing much. I went to do the scoutingheritage merit badge and then met up with theinternational troop from Taiwan which over the course ofthe jamboree, we became really good friends. We atepizza and headed back to camp where we ate our dinner ofhotdogs and went to the last day concert. The Taiwanesetroop met us where we were sitting at and we hung outwith them for the whole concert. After the show was over

we said our goodbyes and as we were walking back tocamp we saw tons of fireworks. Now we have to sleepearly so we can wake up at 5:00 and rush out of camp.By: Justin TsaiDay 13 - Jamboree Day 97/27/2017The last night of the jamboree was sad. During the pastweek I have gotten closer to the troop and with othertroops. It was sad to say farewell to the other troops. Aswe were able to do events throughout the jamboree as agroup. We also had many exchanges out of friendship.Today while at the concert we said goodbye to our troopfriends from Taiwan. Many memories were made throughthe whole week and it is sad to leave.By: Bryan YooDay 13 - Jamboree Day 97/27/2017Today my group decided that we wanted to do thescouting heritage merit badge but as we walked out ofcamp the rain started to come down. We had to takeshelter in the fishing tent and wait for the rain to diedown. Once the rain died down we decided to go to thereading post to buy our scoutmaster a gift and after thatwe went to the scouting heritage merit badge. When wefinished we met up with the Taiwan troop to hang outwith for a little until we had to go back to camp. At camp istayed back to help out with some clean up and headed tothe concert after. At the concert the Taiwan troop sat withus and most of the time we were just taking pictures. Bythe end of the concert it started to rain so we headed backto the campsite to pack for the next day.By: Brandon Tsai

Day 12 - Jamboree Day 87/26/2017Today I left early to go foxtrot to trade with internationalscouts from foreign countries. Shortly after that josh,Marco, and I went to the smaller rock climbing wall andclimes for a couple hours and then I went to go fishingwith Jeremy for an hour and then came back to camp fordinner and then went to foxtrot with both Andrews, EJ,Rex, and some others. We traded with people fromGuatemala and Nicaragua scouts for an hour andsocialized with them.By: Packer DavidsonDay 12 - Jamboree Day 87/26/2017Today garon michael Russell and I went to water realitywe tried it three times and on their time, we finallyconquered the Twinkie after that we also went to paddlingGaron Michael and I were all advanced that means we getto do the harder trails than the rest when we were restingwe saw some Korean girls and I thought it would befunny to rip my shirt so I did it.By: Michael Wagoner

Day 12 - Jamboree Day 87/26/2017Today was an amazing day at jamboree, the weather wasperfect which allowed us to do many activities. I did twomerit badges, which were journalism and genealogy. Ialso did three hikes today while taking in the sites. Thiswas one of my favorite days for jamboree because it hadso much in store. Everyday kept on getting better andbetter.By: Rex RathDay 12 - Jamboree Day 87/26/2017Today was a fun day where I went up to archery and shotthrow a patch and got a full ghost patch. The day before Iwas at the skatepark and I ended up hurting my right legmaking it where I had to get a boot. I went to the tradingPost and got some souvenir so when I get home I canremember some of the things that I got and did at the 2017national jamboree.By: Caleb LennonDay 11 - Jamboree Day 77/25/2017Today was a fun day because i went to the skatepark andhad a fun time. I met a cool kid from Maryland and wehad a lot of things in common. We both like the samebrands. Something else i did was archery but it wasn’t tofun because I’m not that good at archery but it was still anawesome experience. Something cool i saw today was atroop from Honduras.By: Freddy Duarte

Day 11 - Jamboree Day 77/25/2017Today I did a lot of activities and we also went to thesteam program. While doing the steam program, I havelearned a lot about the amazing thing that people can dowith science. I have done a lot of activities such as goingto the skate park and also lined up but did not go on thescuba diving. Although I did not go on the scuba divingactivity, I have finished my book that I am supposed toread for school. Throughout the trip I have learned a lotand also, I am looking forward to going back to LA.By: Eric XiangDay 11 - Jamboree Day 77/25/2017Jamboree has been amazing a very interesting place. There are so many different activities to do and so manynew experiences which makes this place truly amazing. One of my favorite parts about this camp are the stadiumshoes. Not only are 35,000 scouts coming together towatch, but also the walk to the stadium is amazing. Itreminds me of an ant trail all walking one by one to reacha destination. Another part I love about this camp is thearchery range. You can do long distance shooting tocrossbow shooting. I personally have never shot acrossbow before which made it an amazing experiencewith my brother and we both had fun learning about theparts of the crossbow and how it shoots. Overall,Jamboree has been great and I am really enjoying doingthese fun activities with my family.By: Joshua Sanford

Day 11 - Jamboree Day 77/25/2017Today was an AMAZING day! My favorite part abouttoday was the STEM center. It was so cool learning aboutall kinds of science, including Forensics, Non-NewtonianLiquids, and Silk Screening. Like Francis Bacon said, "Alittle bit of science draws a man away from God. A lotbrings him back."By: Andrew RodríguezDay 10 - Jamboree Day 67/24/2017Today was the one awkward schedule of the week. Therewas not enough time to go do stuff and there was not a lotof stuff open for today was the day the president visitedthe National Boy Scout Jamboree. Many of us decided togo charge up and play cards at the outlets near sub campheadquarters to pass time. At around 1:30 we started toline up for the president's speech. We waited for 2 hoursin line in overcast weather. We were not allowed to bringmuch to the speech because of Secret Service securityrestrictions. Only clear water bottles and a phone could becarried in. However, this was absolutely worth it becauseto see the president is a great honor no matter politics. Thenight ended on a note of energy and was truly amemorable experience.By: Wesley KaoDay 10 - Jamboree Day 67/24/2017

Overall, today was a pretty average day and the onlyabnormal event being when the President of the UnitedStates gave us a political speech that was not supposed tobe political. Our journey to the stadium began around twoand we waited in line for two hours. Once we were in thestadium, we waited for another two hours for the presidentto arrive. Meanwhile we saw snipers posted in the hillsand on the zip line hubs while we sang along to songs onthe jumbo Tron and speakers. When the POTUS finallyarrived, he talked to us for forty minutes straight with aspeech that will fuel the creation of many memes. After heleft there was a short concert and we just went back tocamp. So other than the speech, nothing really eventfulhappened and hopefully the final days will just get better. That's all for now. Signing off.By: Michael GuerraDay 10 - Jamboree Day 67/24/2017Today was one of my high adventure days. I went to rockclimbing with Dimitri, Andrew, my brother Andrew, andDr. Ozzie. My dad and I were late, so the others left earlywithout us. My dad and I then took a shuttle to thesummit. We actually beat the 2 Andrews and Dimitri, whowalked all the way up. We put on our gear and went up aroute. We all did really well. Dr. Ozzie was THE bestclimber of the day. He climbed up a wall in 18 seconds, and the staff record is 14 seconds! I only got 20 secondson the same climb! Dimitri was the DUDE! He waspersistent in climbing, even when he was exhausted. Wethen went back to camp and got ready for PresidentTrump. We had to wait in line for 2 and a half hours. Tokill the time, we had to kill our throats by singing. Wesang showtunes, Disney songs, and popular songs. Weeventually had to sit down and wait for Trump to speak. When he spoke, everyone went wild. It was honoring tohave President Trump speak at the boy scout Jamboree.By: E.J. Rodríguez

Day 10 - Jamboree Day 67/24/2017Today I got to see the president of the United Statesspeak. He talked to us about the impact scouting has hadin government. No matter what political beliefs anyonehad I believed it to be an honor. It is a privilege for apresident to talk to us. Things like this don't happen everyday so we shouldn't take it lately.By: Sebastian BlytheDay 9 - Jamboree Day 57/23/2017Today I headed over to the rock climbing wall which wasincredibly fun. It was super cool to literally jump fromgrip to grip, and then repel down the wall (and then fall onmy back). After that I made my way over to the scubapools which was refreshing after the humid weather. I metsome really interesting folks from Seattle, Washingtonwho were pretty nice, and we ended up trading patches.Overall it was a pretty hot but fun and relaxing day.By: Sean AllinsonDay 9 - Jamboree Day 57/23/2017Today I went to the Buddhist religious service. There was an unexpected amount of people. A guy wasmanaging the lines and saw us a bunch of Asians andassumed we were Buddhist so we got to go in front of theline. We meditated and got to meet new people fromCalifornia. After that we went back to camp and didlaundry. We went to find the intentional troop and hangout. Lastly, I went to rock climbing it was fun. But at theend of the day we chilled and charged our phones. Theend.By: Alvin Chang

Day 9 - Jamboree Day 57/23/2017From catching fish to swimming through obstacles in thelake, jamboree has been a great time so far. By far the bestthing has been meeting Boy Scouts from Taiwan. It's notevery day you get to meet people from Taiwan let alonekids our age who are Boy Scouts and share the sameinterests. Jamboree is a place that allows for all of this tohappen, for people from different backgrounds differentcountries different religions to all come together and doone thing and enjoy the best scouting has to offer. Onlyhalfway through the jamboree and already plenty ofmemorable moments and plenty more to come.By: Abraham GarciaDay 9 - Jamboree Day 57/23/2017Today I went to rock climbing with seen and garon whichwas really fun. I almost completed the second hardestcourse and had fun with my boys. After that I met up withmy dad and Mr Allinson and we all went scuba divingtogether which felt great after all the hours we spent rockclimbing the cold water in the pools felt amazing. Finally,we finished and went back to camp to relax.By: Nick Sanford

Day 8 - Jamboree Day 47/22/2017Today was a nice and eventful day. It included activitiessuch as scuba, patch trading, a concert, and my favorite, shooting. The barrels were my favorite since I was able touse a variety of firearms like shotguns and rifles. Atscuba, I was a bit underwhelmed by the small pool, but itstill felt exciting to find small treasures on the bottom. The concert was boring at the start, but it eventuallybecame very exciting, especially with the huge speechfrom Inky Johnson and the performance from XAmbassadors. Overall, the fourth day of the Jamboree wasexciting, and I can't wait to finally get some sleep.By: Aaron LermaDay 8 - Jamboree Day 47/22/2017Jamboree has been beyond all expectations in terms ofactivities, staff, and the overall troop camaraderie. A smallsample of today's activities included rock climbing andscuba diving with the literal living pirates running thejoint. Rock climbing was entertaining other except for mythree times almost falling to my death because the autobelay system doesn't kick in until you free-fall off the wallfor 5 feet or so. Also included in today's activities was astadium show which included visits from Kanye West andNicki Minaj. Also, the AT&T product placement is out ofcontrol. Other than that, the food sucks but camp has stillbeen an amazing experience.By: Garon Arredondo

Day 8 - Jamboree Day 47/22/2017Today was an amazing day. This morning, I went to thefishing area. I managed to catch 7 fish, which makes atotal of 14 fish in two days. After five fishing, Josh Jensenand I went to mountain biking. We went through thetraining course and the skill course. I had to do the skillscourse twice since I let go of the brakes at one point. Wealso had a stadium show in the evening. It was really funand we got to listen to some nice music. Overall todaywas fun and I am really enjoying my jamboree.By: Michael AguilarDay 8 - Jamboree Day 47/22/2017Today was an awesome sunny day in which I did manyactivities. I came across the scuba pool in the jamboree2017 app and really wanted to do it. I searched for thehidden silver coins on the floor of the pool. That was themost fun thing I did today. Aaron, Michael W. and I wentto the barrels shortly after. Troop 3315 went to the AT&Tshow and represented the LA dodgers. Over all, today wasawesome!By: Nicolas Fernandez

Day 7 - Jamboree Day 37/21/2017Day three has come and gone and what a day it was! Afterleaving camp we headed to the zip line where wediscovered we were at the wrong starting point. After ashort hike, we arrived at the CORRECT starting pointwhere we changed our mind and decided to do the copecourse. After another brief hike (we were picked up by ashuttle about halfway through) we arrived and soon wewere in the trees. We clung onto the ropes for dear lifeand when we finished we rappelled to the forest floor.Next up was mountain biking and after a twenty-minuteskill check we were almost on our way. Right as we wereabout to enter the trail, all activities were shut down dueto lightning. We took shelter in a building and it began topour. We got a shuttle ride back to camp and not thirtyminutes later the sky cleared up which was disappointing. We then continued walking around and on the way, wevisited the international scouts tent, got partials in gamedesign, and toured the sustainability tree house. After thatwe decided to head back to camp and check out the patchmerchants along the way. I met some fellow scouts whowere at the same summer camp I attended at the sametime. Overall though, I would say my favorite part was thecope course and my least favorite was getting rained outat the last second on biking, although it was nice to cooldown after a week of heat and humidity. ENDTRANSMISSION.By: Michael Guerra

Day 7 - Jamboree Day 37/21/2017Today I went to go to the trading post and scuba divingwith my group. My favorite part is when I was on my wayback when a coast guard helicopter was dropping peopledown into the lake and picking them up. I also liked theamount of people wanting to trade patches at almost everycorner of all the camps. I've experience that people takepatch trading very seriously and will try to scam their wayto get your patches. Therefore, I try to get the worth’s ofthem and try to get a one to one deal.By: Christian ZepedaDay 7 - Jamboree Day 37/21/2017Wow! Third day of Jambo. Well, today I started the daywith using my zip token to go on the Gateway zip linewith a group of scouts of our troop. We then went on amini scuba adventure in a pool, in which I left with a coolpatch and several underwater pictures! At 2:30 MichelAguilar and I saw the Secretary of State make a speech inwhich I was able to take a picture with him. Awesome! After that experience I shopped around several tentbooths, including the trading post which ironically is not avery popular patch trading site. This has been a veryexciting day, and I hope to have many more like it in thedays to come. )By: Andrew De Sevilla

Day 7 - Jamboree Day 37/21/2017Today I went fishing, hiking, and zip lining. The fishingon the lake for me wasn't very good because there is onlyone area that you can catch fish. My second least favoritething was the hiking to and from places. The hike to thezip line was extremely hard for me because of the heavygear they gave us. The most exciting thing I did was goingon the zip line. At the end of the zip line the hard stopmade me jump. I also went to foxtrot which is wherescouts from outside the United States camp.By: Josh JensenDay 6 - Jamboree Day 27/20/2017Today I was able to explore and go through the camps inthe jamboree. Everywhere I went there was alwayssomething interesting and it was amazing. The campswere huge and while exploring I was very amazed. In themorning to the afternoon I hiked with the troop and on thetrip, we participated in games and learned some history ofscouting. After that we were given the freedom to explorethe camps. With my group we took part in field events, took part in the physical spartan race, and metinternational troops. As the first day of exploring it wasfun and I am excited for the next days to come.By: Bryan Yoo

Day 6 - Jamboree Day 27/20/2017Today, we hiked up to garden grove as a troop for our firstactivity in camp. There we looked at a small recreation ofthe first Boy Scout camp in America. I enjoyed watchingsome of the other boys trying to knock each other over aspart of one of the camp's games. After that, I took a friendwith me to go get Chick-fil-A at their food truck. I likedwalking around afterward to find patches to trade. I endedthe day relaxing and playing cards just before dinner.By: Dylan LomasDay 6 - Jamboree Day 27/20/2017On July 19, 2017, troop 3315 had finally arrived to thenational jamboree. The struggle at camp began the minutewe had stepped foot onto the jamboree property. We hadto carry our bulky duffle bags down the hill and werepresented by large boxes that were the size of carepackages full of camp supplies. The adults had agreed tomake dinner if we had finished setting up in an hour. Wehad gained confidence and started setting up the tables, tents, cots, kitchen, and canopies. Under the WestVirginia sun, we all started drowning in sweat and manyof the scouts took off their shirts and class A. We hadunfortunately failed the agreement with the adults. Theaction of staking the tents were over whelming, whichcaused us to fail the challenge. Dinner was done by thenarwhal patrol and we ate hamburger meat, mashedpotatoes, gravy, green beans, pound cake, and fruit cups. This meal was a perfect way to end the arduous set-upday.By: Jon Cho

Day 6 - Jamboree Day 27/20/2017Today was a great day. Today we hiked up a mountain, ithad a lot of activities. We did only a few activities. Whenwe went to camp I went to do patch trading. All I did wasspend the whole-time patch trading then I had dinner andwent to sleep, the most thing I liked was the mountain weclimbed because it had lots of activities. I had the besttime ever today.By: Lucas CriscoDay 5 - Arrival to the Jamboree7/19/2017Today, we arrived at Jambo. This was not as I expected itto be. The size of the place and the amount of people wasphenomenal. The bus ride was pretty long but I sleptthrough most of it. When we arrived, Dr. Ozzie promisedthat the adults would cook for us if we setup camp in anhour but we weren’t successful. I hope that Jambo will befun, looking forward to it.By: Marco CriscoDay 5 - Arrival to the Jamboree7/19/2017We started the day at the motel Dennis restaurant and wehad eggs, bacon, and pancakes for breakfast. Afterbreakfast we boarded the bus and headed toward thesummit, the location for jamboree, while taking rest stopsalong the way. The first rest stop was at a truck stopwhere we all took a restroom break and the second stopwas at a restaurant to eat lunch. Once we reached thesummit we checked in and immediately started to set upcamp. Setting up most of the camp took about 2 hours. Our patrol was in charge of dinner and we made

hamburger meat with mashed potatoes, gravy, greenbeans, salad, fruit cups and pound cake. Cleaning thekitchen after dinner was a pretty hard because we lost allnatural light and we had a lot of pots and pans. Finally, when we finished cleaning we took a very cold showerand went to bed.By: Brandon TsaiDay 5 - Arrival to the Jamboree7/19/2017We woke up in the morning for the last day at a hotel. Weate breakfast, packed our bags, and headed on the bus fora drive to the national jamboree. As we were heading inthe camp was way larger than I expected it to be. We tookall our bags off the bus and headed to the campsite that weare staying at. As soon as we put our bags down we werefaced with a challenge of setting up the campsite withinan hour so that we didn’t need to cook. Setting up thecamp was very hard but we accomplished it in 1 hour and30 minutes. My patrol was assigned to cooking dinnerwhich was hamburger patties with mashed potatoes, fruitcups, and pound cake. We ate dinner which was reallygood and cleaned everything which took a long time. After everything was done, I went to go take a shower, setup the inside of my tent, and went to sleep.By: Justin Tsai

Day 5 - Arrival to the Jamboree7/19/2017We started off the day at Denny's with a light breakfast ofeggs, bacon, and pancakes. With a long bus ride ahead ofus, eating light was the way to go. After a 5-6-hour busride with a short sandwich lunch in the middle, we arrivedat the Summit Bethel Reserve. It took a while to get inbecause of all of the troops there. It took us about an hourto get in to camp and from there we started to unpack andset up camp. We organized patrols to do different tasks tobe more efficient. Set up took the entire afternoon and waswrapped up with a beef and mashed potatoes dinner. Withthe long day coming to an end, we took a shower andwent to sleep.By: Wesley KaoDay 4 - Kings Dominion7/18/2017So today we went to King' s Domain to have some rollercoaster fun. King' s Domain is basically like Knotts BerryFarm. We split off into multiple groups of 2 or more andwent on all the rides we wanted to go on. They also had aSoak City as well. Today went extremely well andtomorrow is the day we head out to Jamboree!By: Dimitri Cherwin

Day 4 - Kings Dominion7/18/2017Today we spent a whole day at king’s dominion which Isa theme park. I really loved it because it was much biggerand better then it's owner knots berry farm. I went onevery roller coaster and a "good friend" pushed me to goon one of the biggest ones. My favorite ride wasintimidator and another that I forgot its name. It was agreat experience that I would recommend to anyone.By: Sebastian BlytheDay 4 - Kings Dominion7/18/2017Jambo has been pretty great so far. We've only done thetour bit, but man, we've done so much. Our days havebeen packed right with moving from here to there andback again. Don't get me wrong, I love the experience, lots of interesting history and great sights to see. On thefourth day of tour, we spent like four hours at anamusement park called "Kings Dominion". I went onevery roller coaster like 6 times, and it was awesome (I'mprobably still suffering some repercussions from that butit was worth it) That and the food is great, but of coursethat's going to change when we get to The Summit, alongwith the pace and environment. But it's all been fantasticso far.By: Russell Collings

Day 4 - Kings Dominion7/18/2017When I went to the Kings Dominion I had a really funTim there. I went on rides I have never seen before oreven heard of. My personal favorite was Avalanche sinceit was a different roller coaster than from what I’ve seen. Ialso enjoyed soak city inside the park. It was a nice way tostay cool and have fun.By: Parker DavidsonDay 4 - Kings Dominion7/18/2017The amusement park was awesome. We did so manyenjoyable rides like one called the Dominator which was aroller coaster with many corkscrews and hair pin turns, one called the intimidator which had a huge drop and wasawesome. The day was awesome one bad thing was thatmy group did not really want to do intimidator so I had tolook for an entire new group which did not happen.Overall it was sick.By: Rex RathDay 3 - Washington D.C.7/17/2017I really liked the capital building because I liked how thyrepresented each state with a statue. I also liked thepainting they had on the ceiling it was very detailed. Ireally liked the 9/11 memorial in the pentagon. It wasbeautiful how the sunset reflected against the trees andhow tranquil it was. My favorite played today was the spymuseum though I got to see the stolen computer chips thatmy dad worked on and my favorite spy 007.By: Sebastian Blythe

Day 3 - Washington D.C.7/17/2017Today we went to memorials. I liked them because itshowed the men and women who gave their lives for us. Ialso liked going to the capitol and seeing the amazingarchitecture.By: Michael WagonerDay 3 - Washington D.C.7/17/2017We went to the 9/11 memorial today. The memorialconsisted of benches that were placed for the victims of9/11. Looking at those benches made me realize that thiswas a serious event that happened that should not be madefun of. We were also able to get pictures of the benchesand the Pentagon as well. That's all for now!By: Dimitri CherwinDay 3 - Washington D.C.7/17/2017Today we were exploring a lot of Washington DC and ofthe places I enjoyed was the shrine of the unknown soliderbecause even though they do not know the person the stilltreat them the same and the military person guarding itwas focused every second. The cemetery also had beenpresident John F Kennedy.By: Caleb Lennon

Day 2 - Gettysburg/Washington D.C.7/16/2017Today was a day of visiting memorials. We started withGettysburg and the memorials for both the union andconfederate soldiers. Each memorial eithercommemorated a special event on the battlefield or aregiment. Gettysburg was my favorite stop so far becausethe battlefield was huge and so beautiful that it wasdifficult to picture a battle happening here. The cycloramaof the battle was so beautiful and detailed that it wouldtake hours to see all of the specific events happening all atonce. We then visited the Air and Space Museum, which ILOVED! The World War 1 exhibit was my favorite partbecause I feel like people know a lot about World War 2,but World War 1 is kind of forgotten. This exhibit helpedme better understand what it was like to be a pilot in TheGreat War. After that, we went to the Boy ScoutMemorial, which I didn't know existed. It was surprisingto find out that we have a memorial about Scouting. Wethen saw the White House. We moved on to theWashington Monument, which looked taller in person. Then, we went to the World War 2 Memorial. It was oneof my favorite memorials because of the many things thatit represented. Next, we hit the Vietnam Memorial, whichI found my name on the wall, Edward Rodriguez. We thensaw the Lincoln Memorial and the view of theWashington Monument and the Capital Building. The, wesaw the Korean Memorial, which is probably my favoritememorial because it helps men who gave their lives in this"forgotten war" to be remembered for their service and tonever be forgotten. This has been my favorite day of thetour so far and I can't wait for the rest of Jamboree!By: E.J. Rodríguez

Day 2 - Gettysburg/Washington D.C.7/16/2017We went to Gettysburg and it was awesome. We saw thebattle field and the cyclorama. Then we ate lunch thenwhen to Washington dc which was awesome. We visitedthe museums and ate dinner at a sports pub. Then we sawthe boy scout memorial. We also saw the Washingtonmonument and Vietnam wall. Later we saw Korean warand Lincoln memorial.By: Jeremy Fue

troops. It was sad to say farewell to the other troops. As we were able to do events throughout the jamboree as a group. We also had many exchanges out of friendship. Today while at the concert we said goodbye to our troop friends from Taiwan. Many memories were made thr
