The undersignedhas the right of placing order depending on quality of items and accepting subsequentnegotiated rate. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA1. The bidder firm must be incorporated and registered in India under the IndianCompanies Act/Societies Registration Act/Trust Act/ any other Act, or any Govt.Firm doing similar work and should be in operations in India for minimum 3years.2. Self declaration that the bidder has not been barred by any PSU/Govt.Dept.in doingbusiness with them.3. The bidder must submit copies of their GST registration certificate from thecompetent authority.4. The bidder must submit copies of their PAN Card.5. The amendment, if any will be notified on the College Website for updates on thistender.EXTENSION OF TIMEIn order to give required time to the prospective Bidder in which to take the amendments intoaction in preparing their bid, the Purchaser may at its discretion extend the deadline forsubmission of bid suitably.BID PRICEPrices should be inclusive of all taxes and duties. No claim whatsoever on the bid price willbe entertained subsequently due to wrong quoting of tax or rate of any tax. However, rate oftaxes and duties included in the price offered should also be given separately from the basic

price. The prices quoted by the bidder shall remain firm during the entire period of thecontract and shall not be subject to variation on any account.VALIDITY PERIOD OF BIDBid shall remain valid for 120 days after the date of opening. The bid valid for a shorterperiod shall be rejected by the purchaser as non-responsive.SIGNING OF THE BIDI. The original copy of the bid shall be typed and shall be signed by the bidder or aperson duly authorized by the bidder. In case of authorization, the Authorizationshould be in the shape of an affidavit.II. All pages of the original bid shall be initiated by the person signing the bid. The bidshall contain no interlineations; the person signing the bid shall give initial againsteach correction.DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDBid must be received by the purchaser at the address specified and not later than the date andtime specified in the NIT. Any Bid received late by the purchaser shall be rejectedautomatically.MODIFICATION AND WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No modification of Bid shall be allowed unless there is any amendment made by thepurchaser. The Bidder may withdraw Bid with an application addressed to the Principal,Barnagar College, Sorbhog. Once Bid withdrawn, the same Bidder must not Bid forthe second time. Such Bids, if received, will be rejected.SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONQuotations may be submitted online via e-mail to barnagarcollege@yahoo.in within thestipulated time. However, the Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque amounting to Rs. 1,000/- astender fee along with a forwarding letter regarding submission of quotation should be sent inhard copy to the office of the undersigned within the stipulated time. The quotations mustcontain details of Author/Editor, Publisher etc. of the books along with quoted price per unit.Presence of bidder in person at the time of opening of quotation is not mandatory.Supply/work order will be issued in favour of selected firm via e-mail. Supply has to becompleted within the timeframe as mentioned in the Supply Order.
