Bridge to6th Grade and 6th Advanced MathSummer PacketBelow is a suggested summer guide of material to help your child be successful in 6th grademath. Much of the summer bridge is spent on multiplication fluency. Multiplication fact fluencyis the ability to quickly and accurately recall the answer to basic multiplication facts. Repeatedpractice through song and written exercises results in the fact being committed to long-termmemory allowing it to be instantaneously recalled. With this in mind, we have created asummer packet filled with fact fluency exercises to prepare your child for the greatest level ofsuccess in 6th grade math. We have also included a two week review of adding and subtractingfractions.
