HOW TO USE THE SUPERHERO WORKSHEETS:The worksheets in this document are designed as classroom tools to use along with the Superhero Theme. The Crossword Puzzle is designed for older girls. If you think it is too challenging for some of your girls, youcould use it as a teaching tool and work on it together. The answer keys below can help you as the teacher toget a head start. The Word Search makes use of the same words so you could combine the two or use the word search forelementary-aged girls who can read. The “Secret Encoded Message” reveals part of our theme scripture from Isaiah 1:17 (VOICE). This activitysheet is designed for elementary-aged children. Younger children who recognize letters and patterns mightcould do it too with assistance. The final two pages, “The Superhero Card” are to be printed front to back on card stock to challenge girls tofind ways to be a Superhero at home, school, or in the community. Write their names on the blank lines andhave them ready to give to each girl at some point during the week. You could put them on a bulletin boardor as door decor during Girls’ Ministries Week.The concepts and terminology used on these activity pages were pulled from the various articles and information included in the Annual Theme Booklet which is available for download from our website (http://iphc.org/discipleship/girls/gmweek/).
