After over 40 years in practice,he ow serves as Co-Clinic Director forGraduate Orthodontics at UBC Vancouver.He has lectured world-wide, and publishedextensively.Dr. Patricia O'Connor is a ConsultantPhysician in Internal Medicine and ClinicalSenior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacologyand Therapeutics in St James Hospital andTrinity College Dublin. Juan F is also an adjunct professorat the University of Buffalo School of DentalMedicine, Department of Pediatric andCommunity Dentistry. Juan F. is a dentist(DDS) and a physician (MD) from XavierUniversity at Bogotá, Colombia. In 1999,Juan F. moved to the United States ofAmerica, and attended the University ofIowa and the University of Pennsylvaniawhere he completed a fellowship andresidency in Radiology and Oral Medicinerespectively in 2002 and 2004. In 2006,Juan F. completed a Master in PublicHealth (MPH), and in 2011 a DoctoralDegree in Public Health (DrPH) both withemphasis in Epidemiology at the Universityof Kentucky College of Public Health. He thenworked as a Senior Dental Officer inPaediatric Dentistry at Bradford andAiredale Salaried Dental Services between2008 and 2012. He became a member andthen a fellow of the Royal College ofPhysicians and Surgeons of Glasgow(Paediatric Dentistry) in 2015 and 2016. Heworked as an academic Paediatric Dentistconsultant at University of Leeds in 2017. In2018, Dr Hani was appointed as a seniorconsultant in Paediatric Dentistry at HamadMedical Corporation. Academically, heobtained a PhD in paediatric Dentistry fromthe University of Leeds, School of Dentistryin 2008. In 2012, he was appointed as aNIHR Clinical Lecturer in the paediatricdentistry Department where he wasinvolved in undergraduate andpostgraduate education. Dr Hani is also thefounding president of the ArabianAcademy of Paediatric Dentistry. Hisresearch interests are in the field of fluorideanticariogenic effect; slow releasing fluoridedevice, dental plaque, regenerativeendodontics and the use of laser Dopplerflowmetry. Hani has multiple publicationsand co-authored several book chapters inaddition to presenting in several UKnational and international conferences. Inaddition, Dr Hani is currently an associateeditor of the Paediatric Dentistry andOrthodontic sections of DentalTraumatology Journal.Dr. Gallagher qualified from DublinDental Hospital in 1991. He worked inGeneral Dental Practice in the UK from1992 to 1996 and completed Masters inEndodontics at the Eastman DentalInstitute in London in 1997. Dr Gallagherwas awarded FDS from Royal College ofSurgeons In Ireland in 1998. Since 1997he has worked in Practice Limited toEndodontics, initially in London until2001 when he returned to Ireland towork in Co. Kildare. Dr. Gallagher worksone day per week in the Dublin DentalHospital as a clinical supervisor to theundergraduate students. He has been anactive member of the Irish EndodonticSociety since 2001.Dr. John LordanDr. John Lordan is an American trainedendodontist (root canal specialist) andhas been helping dentists maintain theirpatients’ teeth and relieving their painfrom his practice at the NorthbrookClinic since 1994. Dr. Lordan graduatedin UCC in 1981 and worked in generalpractice in the UK before spending twoyears as a resident studying endodonticsat Boston University under the worldrenowned Dr Herbert Schilder. Thetechniques he acquired during this timeare considered the gold standard inendodontic therapy and Dr Lordanapplies this expertise daily in his practiceat the Northbrook Clinic with excellenttreatment outcomes.
