Endrijonas called the meeting to order at 10:32 AM.I. Review and approval of meeting notes from April 22, 20211. Motion to approve: S. Rose. Second: L. Ramirez. Approved.II. INFORMATION ITEMS1. Superintendent/President’s Updateo E. Endrijonas discussed the state budget. It is positive to education in general. Thebudget must be approved on or before June 15th.o The Aspen Institute ceremony took place on Tuesday. D. Ramirez was filmed for thatand did a great job.o The second PRT visit occurred last week. The writing group is developing theinstitutional effectiveness innovation plan.o Various commencement celebrations will be taking place.2. Academic Affairs Update – Dr. Laura Ramirezo L. Ramirez shared the fall 2021 schedule is live.o In accordance with public health guidelines, classrooms will be at 50% capacity in thefall.o There are six additional hires, and this information has been emailed.o Commencement will occur on June 12th, which prompted the change to the calendarreviewed and approved by the Calendar Committee.3. Business and Administrative Services Update – V.P. Candace Joneso C. Jones discussed the tentative budget and making adjustments to COLA. Thetentative budget will be reported to the Board in June, and the adopted budget willbe presented in September.o The campus is being prepared for the fall semester and summer pilot activities.1

o There is a sole-source agreement for air purifiers and a contract to clean the ductsystems and make modifications as necessary.o A form has been sent to the campus community to gather input regarding CARESfunding. In addition, a town hall will be scheduled for the month of August.4. Student Services Update – Dr. Cynthia Olivoo C. Olivo shared a PowerPoint presentation.o Student Services will be meeting students face to face beginning June 14 th. The V100Pathways Center will serve as the student services in-person services center.o Virtual services will also be provided to students.o PCC Connect will be used to schedule appointments.o The goals in student services are to increase and restore access for students asenrollment has decreased, sustain work supporting and graduating Black, Latino/a/x,Men of Color, Asian, and Pacific Islander students, and sustaining transfer successrates for these diverse students.o Federal CARES funding has been disbursed to students.o The alternative grade options for spring 2021 have been sent to students, and facultyhave been sent a reminder as well.o Lancer Answer Day for Prospective Students is scheduled for June 5 th at 10 am.o Eight hundred students RSVP’d for New Student Counseling. Around 600 studentslogged in.o Summer registration emails have been sent to students.o There are 7,748 potential graduates if all external transcripts and courseworkcompleted at other colleges are evaluated to determine if students are eligible forgraduation.o Caseload counseling is being developed at PCC.o There are various events scheduled for AAPI heritage month.o There is a recommendation and request to change the language in the PCC landacknowledgments to specify the Gabrielieno Band of Mission Indians of theSisitcanongna Village and Kizh Nation.o C. Olivo discussed the 25% decrease in enrollment. Unduplicated headcount is downabout 8%.5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Dr. Kari Boleno K. Bolen discussed the student equity and success job posting.o BP 7100 will be updated to complement the work around anti-racism, and the AP willfollow.o A bias assessment response tool will be developed to track patterns of bias andcreate an educational intervention. The purpose is to receive, monitor, and refer asnecessary and support existing processes and procedures. The form will be presentedto constituent groups.o Faculty inquiry groups focused on advancing equity and inclusion will be taking placeto support faculty.o There will be campus-wide trauma-informed training to support collegiality and antiracism. The introduction to this training series will take place in late June early July.Faculty not teaching summer courses will be able to access the training in late Augustor early September.2

6. Committee Report Out – Strategic Planning Standing Committee – Crystal Kollrosso C. Kollross reviewed the main projects of the committee for 2020-2021 and thankedthe committee for their work. The main projects include developing a college visionstatement, revising the college core values, definition/description of core values, anddeveloping the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.o The Board of Trustees has approved the new vision statement.o The core values and definitions will be posted on the college website.7. Technology Master Plan (TMP) – V.P. Candace Joneso C. Jones indicated the Board approved the new technology master plan. It will beposted on the website with the supporting documents.o The college has received two awards. One award is for the technology master plan,and the other award is for access to the software.8. COVID-19 Taskforce Report – Alex Boekelheide and Darlene Indao A. Boekelheide reviewed the purpose of the COVID-19 Taskforce and therecommendations that were developed.o The report has eight different sections. The sections include employee health,employee policies, student health, student policies, occupancy in offices and commonareas, occupancy in instruction and transportation, cleaning and sanitization, andsignage, data, and communications. The report was developed in three months withthe input of 60 employees across campus.o Because of the constant change in the situation, the report is a living document and amenu of options rather than a plan.9. Calendar Changes for 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 for Commencement – Dr. Laura Ramirezo L. Ramirez indicated the calendar changed to accommodate commencement onSaturday, June 12th. The calendar has been reviewed and approved by the CalendarCommittee and the Board of Trustees.10. 2021/2022 College Council Standing Committee Administrator Co-Chair Appointmentso E. Endrijonas reviewed the co-chair appointments for the Health and Safety StandingCommittee, Strategic Planning Standing Committee, Student Success Committee, andthe Institutional Effectiveness Standing Committee.III. OLD ITEMS - DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION1. BP/AP 4102 Career and Technical Education – Dr. Salvatrice Cummoo S. Cummo indicated BP 4102 and AP 4102 are being brought forth for final approval.The BP was brought to College Council in March with minor revisions and updatedand sent to the Academic Senate, where they were passed and approved.o Motion made by L. Ramirez to approve BP/AP 4102 Career and Technical Education.Seconded by S. Rose. No further discussion requested; no opposition; no abstentions.Motion approved.2. AP 4103 Work Experience – Dr. Salvatrice Cummoo S. Cummo indicated AP 4103 is being brought forth for final approval. The AP wasupdated with the number of maximum units between general work experience andoccupational work experience. It was sent to the Academic Senate, where it waspassed and approved.3

o Motion made by E. Partida to approve AP 4103 Work Experience. Seconded by M.Bustamante. No further discussion requested; no opposition; no abstentions. Motionapproved.3. BP/AP 3070 Ethics of Classified Staff – Ernesto Partidao E. Partida reviewed AP/BP 3070 and indicated it is being brought forth for finalapproval.o Motion made by G.
