Travelers continues to look for ways to make it easier for our Independent Agentsto do business with us. From Agent HQSM to our quoting and issuing systems, weare committed to building an infrastructure that helps agencies increaseefficiencies and grow more profitably in the long term. The PL Electronic PolicyView (EPV) Daily Activity report is one of the many tools we offer to improve yourproductivity and profitability.The EPV Daily Activity report is a listing of daily business activity by producercode that includes insured name, policy number and date of transaction.Effective February 12, 2012, we implemented several enhancements to thisreport. The next few pages list the enhancements, explain how to access thereport, search for specific dates and export a report into a spreadsheet.Frequently asked questions are listed at the end of this document.

February 12, 2012 enhancements to EPV Daily Activity report: You can now search for a report for one date or arange of dates. Transactions for multiple producer codes can nowbe accessed on one report. The insured’s copy of the policy document can beviewed directly from the report. Note: EffectiveMarch 12, the agent’s copy will also be available forviewing. The information in the report can now be exportedinto an Excel spreadsheet.

Accessing the ReportThe EPV Daily Activity reportis available under Reports &Alerts on the right side of theAgent HQ home page. Youcan also access this reportunder Tools & Information onthe left. Expand Reports &Alerts by clicking “ ”; the EPVDaily Activity report willdisplay in a list below.

Selecting a DateYou can access a reportfor one date or select adate range. To access areport for one date,select Equals in thePolicy Process Datefield.To enter a date, click thecalendar icon or theblank field to the right ofPolicy Process Date.Enter the date in theblank field, or click adate on the calendar. Toselect the current date,click Today.

Selecting a Range of DatesTo access a report for a range ofdates, select Date Range. Enterthe beginning date in the blank fieldto the right or click the first calendaricon and select it. Click the secondcalendar icon or next blank field toselect the end date. The daterange must be within 31 days.To change the month or year, clickthe single arrow at the top of thecalendar to change the month orclick the double arrows to changethe year. You can also click themonth and year at the top of thecalendar to change your selection.When you have completedselecting your dates, click Search.To clear entered dates, click Reset.

Viewing the ReportThe EPV DailyActivity reportdisplays each agentcode associatedwith your Agent HQID that has policiesavailable.To display or closeall records for theagent codes listedon the report, clickExpand All orCollapse All. Todisplay all recordsfor a specific code,click the arrow to theleft of the agentcode.Note: Massachusetts auto policies now display on the EPVDaily Activity report; the fields for Named Insured, Full TermPremium and Transaction Premium will be blank.

Viewing PolicyDocumentsThe Transaction Typecolumn indicates if thedocument is the insuredor agent copy. Eachdocument displays on aseparate row.The insured copy willdisplay 1-3 days afterthe agent copy.

Viewing a PolicyDocumentTo view a copy of thepolicy document fromthe report, click the PDFicon next to theinsured’s name. Youcan print the documentor save it to yourcomputer.Note: The TransactionDescription column isnot displayed on theupdated EPV DailyActivity report. Adescription of thetransaction can befound on the insured’spolicy document.

Exporting theReport to an ExcelSpreadsheetTo export theinformation in thereport to an Excelspreadsheet, selectExport to Excel.All data will beexported whetherthe display isexpanded orcollapsed. You cansort and filter theinformation in thespreadsheet andsave it to yourcomputer.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I get access to the EPV Daily Activity report?Agents are provided access to the report by their local Agency User Administrator(AUA). If you do not know your agency’s AUA, click the Your Agency UserAdministrator link under the User Profile section in the top navigation of Agent HQ.If you still need assistance, please call the Travelers Automation Support Helpdeskat 1-800-243-1334, option 5.Will the EPV Daily Activity report require a special installation or password?No. Once your AUA has given you access, you will see the report on the Agent HQhome page.Which producer codes can I see on the report?You will be able to view the report for any producer codes that are aligned with yourAgent HQ ID. If you are missing any specific producer codes, please contact yourAUA to have that code aligned with your ID.

Frequently Asked Questions, continuedHow many results will be displayed on the report?Results returned will display up to a maximum of 2,000 records for the dateor date range selected.What is the “Electronically Delivered” column on the Excel spreadsheet?This column will be used for future enhancements.If I select a date range on one day and run the report, why are there morepolicy documents if I select the same date range and run the report severaldays later?The agent’s copy and the insured’s copy of the policy documents generallybecome available at different times.
