The Department is responsible for establishing theMission and Vision for policing in the 13th largestcommunity in the State of Ohio In summary, the Department provides anoutstanding level of service, based on the size ofthe community, its diversity and its funding. TheDepartment has hurdles to address with thereduction of sheriff’s deputies patrolling theTownship, but has a plan in progress to address theloss. The Department must continue its goal of“Excellence” in practice and service to thecommunity, while maintaining the respect andsupport of the Township residents
