General Formatting Guidelines Consistent formatting, one font. One inch margins, single spaced, 12 point type. Headings in all caps and bold. Subheadings in bold. One or two blank lines before each new heading Typically no bullets-except if preparing a HYBRID. No boxes or column formatting. Year of entries left justified.
