The appliance is designed exclusively forhome use. The appliance may be used to blend,chop, mix and emulsify variousingredients. Moreover, in combinationwith its accessories, it can mince/grindmeat, cheese, bread, mash potatoesand other vegetables or whip and whiskeggs and cream for variouspreparations. Every other use isconsidered improper. Do not use theappliance for anything other than theintended use. The appliance may be used: In staff canteen areas in shops, officesand other working environments; Farm houses; By guests in hotels, motels and otherresidential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments. The appliance is not designed tooperate with external timers or withremote control systems.

1.4 General safety instructionsFollow all safety instructions in order to beable to use the appliance safely. Read this user manual carefully beforeusing the appliance. Unplug appliance immediately after use. Do not leave the appliance unattendedwhile it is operating. Disconnect the appliance from thepower socket as soon as you havefinished using it and before cleaning it. Switch off the appliance and disconnectfrom supply before changingaccessories or approaching parts thatmove in use. Do not immerse the appliance, thepower cord or the plug in water or anyother liquid. Do not use the appliance if the powercable or plug appears to be damagedor if the appliance has been dropped ordamaged in any way. If the power supply cable is damaged,contact technical support immediately toarrange replacement in order to avoidany possible hazards. Prevent the power cable from cominginto contact with sharp edges. Do not pull on the cord to unplug it fromthe power socket. Do not place the appliance above ornear lit hob burners or electric rings,inside an oven or near other heatsources. Do not try to repair the applianceyourself or without the assistance of aqualified engineer. In the event of a fault, repairs should onlybe carried out by a qualified engineer. Do not modify the appliance. Never try to put out a fire or flames withwater: turn off the appliance and removethe plug from the socket and smother theflames with a fire blanket or otherappropriate cover. Disconnect the appliance from thepower socket before assembly,disassembly and cleaning, and as soonas you have finished using it. Children must never play with theappliance. Keep the appliance out ofchildren’s reach. This appliance shall not be used bychildren. Keep the appliance and itscord out of reach of children. This appliance must not be used bypeople of reduced physical, sensory ormental capacity, or lacking inexperience in the use of electricalappliances, provided that they aresupervised or instructed by adults whoare responsible for their safety.5ENITInstructions

InstructionsFor this appliance Do not touch moving parts while theappliance is operating. Keep hands, hairand clothing, and utensils away frommoving parts during operation, toprevent personal injury and/or damageto the appliance. Always disconnect the hand blenderfrom the power socket if it is leftunattended and before assembly,disassembly or cleaning. Unplug the hand blender when it is notbeing used, before cleaning it and if younotice any fault. Do not allow children to use the handblender without supervision. Avoid touching the blades of the blenderattachment and of the chopperattachment as they are very sharp:Danger of cuts! Handle very carefullywhen removing, inserting or cleaning. Remove the chopper blade of thechopper attachment before emptying thebowl. Do not blend hot oil or fat. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into thechopper or blender as it can be ejectedout of the appliance due to a suddensteaming. Use tall containers when mixing liquids,particularly if hot, to reduce spillages,splattering and burn injuries.6 To avoid splashing always insert theblender attachment in the food beforeswitching the hand blender on. Do not leave the hand blender in a hotpot on a lit stove while not in use. Avoid using the blender attachment andchopper attachment to chop fruit pits,bones or other hard food as doing thiscan damage the blades. Avoid getting liquids above the shaft joint Do not use the hand blender with partsor accessories of other manufacturers. Only use original spare parts. The use ofspare parts not approved by themanufacturer could lead to fires, electricshocks or personal injury. Avoid spraying liquid on the motor bodyand cable of the hand blender or gettingthem wet. In the event of contact withliquid, immediately unplug the handblender and dry it thoroughly: Electricshock hazard! Let the hand blender cool down beforecleaning. Do not use harsh detergents or sharpobjects to clean the hand blender, itsattachments and accessories.

1.5 Manufacturer liabilityThe manufacturer shall not be liable forinjuries or property damage caused by: Any use of the appliance other than theone it was designed for. Not having read the user manual. Tampering with any part of theappliance. The use of non-original spare parts. Not following the safety instructions.1.6 Identification plateThe identification plate bears the technicaldata, serial number and brand name of theappliance. Do not remove the identificationplate for any reason.1.7 DisposalThis appliance must be disposed ofseparately from other waste(Directive 2012/19/EU). Theappliance does not contain substances inquantities sufficient to be consideredhazardous to health and the environment, inaccordance with current Europeandirectives. Old electrical appliances must not bedisposed of together with domesticwaste! To comply with current legislation,old appliances, on reaching the end oftheir useful lives, should be taken to adisposal facility where they can besorted. In this way, any valuable materialcontained in the old appliances can berecycled, helping to protect theenvironment. The relevant localauthorities or their waste disposaloperators can provide furtherinformation.Our appliances are packed in nonpolluting and recyclable materials. Dispose of the packing materials at anappropriate recycling facility.Plastic packagingDanger of suffocation Do not leave the packaging or any partof it unattended. Thespeed adjustment is progressive: the dots onthe selector become larger to indicate aspeed increase.To increase the speed rotate the speedselector clockwise; to decrease the speedrotate the speed selector anti-clockwise.Ideal for whipping egg whites, light battersand cream for preparing creams, custards,sauces, etc.9

DescriptionChopperPotato masher and gearboxIt can be used to chop herbs, biscuits,bread, nuts and vegetables. The chopper isfitted with a bowl and blade unit.The chopper bowl has a non-slip siliconebase that can be also used as lid.Perfect for mashing cooked vegetables,such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots,swede, yams and turnips.10

Use3 UseDanger of electrocution Plug into an earthed 3-pin socket.Do not use an adapter.Do not use an extension cord.Failure to follow these instructions couldresult in death, fire, or electric shock.ENIT3.2 Using the hand blenderattachments1. According to the food you wish toprocess, use the most suitableattachment.2. Insert the attachment (1) into the motorbody (2) and twist it anticlockwise so thatit snaps into the motor body housing.3.1 Before first use1. Remove any labels and stickers from thehand blender and its accessories.2. Wipe the motor body with a clean,damp cloth and dry.3. Carefully wash the components of thehand blender and dry them thoroughly(see ”5 Cleaning and care”).Moving partsRisk of personal injury ordamage to the appliance Do not insert fingers, forks or spoons intothe hand blender attachments. Thiscould cause personal injury or damagethe blades. Keep hands, hair, loose jewellery, tiesor clothing, spatulas and other objectsaway from the hand blenderattachments to avoid personal injury ordamage to the appliance. Do not immerse the motor body in wateror other liquids.3. Insert the plug into the power socket.4. Start operation by pressing the ON/OFFbutton. Use the speed selector toincrease the speed or the TURBO buttonto work at maximum speed.Sharp bladesDanger of cuts Never touch the blades with your hands.Use a spatula if you need to removefood. Use3.3 Using the chopper1. Assemble the chopper unit by insertingthe blade unit (3) in its housing at thecentre of the bowl (4).3. Attach the chopper attachment to themotor body by twisting it anticlockwiseso that it snaps into the motor bodyhousing. Start chopping by using theON/OFF button and adjust the speedselector according to the food you arechopping. The TURBO button may alsobe used.2. Insert the food to be processed andclose the bowl using the chopper lid (5).Sharp bladesDanger of cuts Never touch the blades with your hands. Handle blades very carefully.12

3.4 Using the potato masher1. Boil and drain the potatoes or othervegetables and place in a saucepan orbowl.2. Attach the Potato masher (1) to thegearbox (2).4. Select the speed using the speedselector.5. Plunge the head of the potato masherinto the potatoes or other vegetablesand press the ON/OFF button (4). Liftand plunge at a different place in thepan or bowl. Proceed until the potatoes/vegetables are mashed to your liking.3. Then proceed to attach the potatomasher and gearbox unit to the handblender body (3).13ENITUse

UseTips for using your hand blender Blender attachment: Move the handblender gently up and down to obtainbest results. Start the hand blender only when theblender shaft is placed into the mixture tobe blended. Cut food into small pieces to makeblending and chopping easier. Do not immerse the motor body in wateror other liquids. To incorporate air into the mixture, holdthe blade just under the surface. Whisk attachment: When using thewhisk attachment avoid beating eggwhites for too long as they might dry outand get less stable. Add sugar to beaten egg whites slowlyas the peaks have started to form. The maximum operation time for thewhisk attachment is 4 minutes.14 Potato masher: When using the potatomasher use a low speed for potatoes asthey are starchy and must not beoverworked. Use a higher speed formashing vegetables such as turnips andsweet potatoes. Mash the ingredient while hot. Mash vegetables first and add otheringredients like milk, butter andseasoning afterwards. Chopper attachment: Do not operatethe chopper without food inside thebowl. Do not overload the chopper bowl. Cut food into pieces of the same size toachieve even results. Place the chopper bowl on a flat andsturdy surface. Make sure that the blade is correctlyinserted. It is best to insert foods that are not toohot. Some spices may scratch the chopperbowl.

Recipes4 250 g oil (e.g. sunflower oil)1 egg and 1 extra egg yolk1-2 tablespoons of vinegarSalt and pepper to taste1 large avocado, peeled, de-stoned andchopped3 tablespoons of lemon juice125 g sour cream1 tablespoon of minced garlic1 teaspoon of jalapenoMethod:1. Put all the ingredients (at roomtemperature) into the beaker followingthe above order.2. Gently insert the hand blender untiltouching the bottom of the beaker.3. Keeping the blender in the sameposition, operate it at TURBO speed.When the oil starts emulsifying, slowlyraise the shaft to the top of the mixtureand then back down, making sure toincorporate all the oil.Processing time: 1 minute for a dressing-likeresult; 2 minutes for a dip-like result.16Method:1. Using the chopper attachment, first insertthe chopping blade into the choppingbowl, then put all the ingredients into thebowl.2. Close the chopper with the lid and insertthe motor unit. Pulse until the mixturereaches the desired consistency.Suggestion: serve the guacamole withtacos and burritos. For a lighter option,serve with carrots and celery sticks.

RecipesMashed PotatoesIngredients:Ingredients:1 egg120 g icing sugar220 g maltose700 g medium size russet potatoesSalt and pepper to tasteMethod:1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1’’pieces. Place them in a large saucepanand cover with cold water.2. Cover and bring to boil over high heat.Once boiling, remove the lid and keepcooking for about 20 to 25 minutes, untila skewer can be easily inserted in thepotatoes.3. Drain the potatoes well.4. Place the potatoes back into the drysaucepan and gently stir them over lowheat for 1-2 minutes to remove excessmoisture.5. Remove from heat and let the potatoescool for about 5 minutes.6. Fit the Potato Masher attachment to themotor body and, using the TURBOsetting, mash the potatoes for 1 minute.Do not over process, as this might causethe potatoes to become sticky.1. Using the chopper attachment, first insertthe chopping blade into the choppingbowl, then put all the ingredients into thebowl.2. Close the chopper with the lid and insertthe motor unit. Let theappliance cool down first.
