B.APPLIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYSISApplicants for full privileges to perform applied behavioral analysis must satisfy thefollowing requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in at least one of the following areas asdefined in MCCMH MCO Policy 10-070:Board Certified Assistant Behavior AnalystBoard Certified Behavior AnalystBoard Certified Behavior Analyst – DoctoralBCaBABCBABCBA-D2.Applicant must obtain twenty-four (24) hours (BCaBA) or thirty-six (36) hours(BCBA, BCBA-D) of continuing education credits every three (3) years, three(3) hours of which must relate to ethics or professionalism.3.Applicant’s transcript, resume, and/or current job functions must demonstrateability to identify client needs, apply clinical protocols, evaluate progress,develop applied behavior analysis treatment plans, and superviseimplementation of services. Additionally, documentation must demonstrateability to train and educate staff, consumers, and other stakeholders onapplied behavioral techniques.4.BCBAs and BCBA-Ds transcripts and current job functions must demonstrateability to formulate diagnostic impressions, supervise applied behavioralanalysis treatment plans.

C.ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT SERVICESMinimum staffing: Physician (MD or DO) to provide psychiatric coverage, registerednurse who provides direct services within scope of practice, team leader whois a Mental Health Professional with a minimum of a master’s degree andappropriate certification/licensure to provide clinical supervision,and other QMHPs. Up to one full-time equivalent (FTE) certified Peer SupportSpecialist may be substituted for one FTE QMHP. 6. Occupational Therapy/AssessmentApplicant for full privileges to perform Occupational Therapy Assessment/Servicesmust satisfy the following requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in the following area as defined in MCCMHMCO Policy 10-070:Occupational TherapistOTL2.Applicant must have had at least one year post degree experience in a mentalhealth setting.3.Applicant's transcript, résumé, and/or current job functions must indicate anability to obtain, interpret and document data pertaining to the functionalstatus of the client.6. Psychiatric EvaluationApplicant for full privileges to perform Psychiatric Evaluations must satisfy thefollowing requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in the following area as defined in theMCCMH MCO Policy 10-070:PhysicianMD, DO 35Nurse Practitioner (NP) can perform 90791 only2.Applicant must have had at least one year post degree experience in a mentalhealth setting during or after his/her residency training.3.Psychiatric Evaluation of children and adolescents requires at least one yearcompletion of child psychiatry fellowship, or equivalent training in a childservices agency.7. Psychological TestingApplicants for full privileges to perform Psychological Testing 36 must satisfy thefollowing requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in the following area as defined in MCCMHMCO Policy 10-070:Psychologist2.LP, LLP, TLLPApplicant must have had at least one graduate level course which covers thetheory, administration, and interpretation of standard, commonly acceptedtests within that category. In some cases this requirement may be waived ifthe applicant is able to demonstrate extensive supervised experience in lieuof graduate course work.

3.Applicant's transcript, résumé, and/or current job functions must indicate anability to systematically administer, score, and interpret structuredstandardized appropriately normed instruments.4.Applicant must have supervised experience and training pertinent to the clientpopulation for which services will be performed. Supervision can be from apracticum, or supervised work experience and should include administrationsof standard commonly accepted tests within that category.If an applicant has acceptable training and experience within a specific testcategory, but lacks experience with the client population for which servicesare to be performed, a provisional privilege may be granted for a time limitedperiod to obtain necessary experience.Applicants requesting privileges to perform Neuropsychological Assessmentsmust demonstrate formal course work and specific supervised training (i.e.internship or post-doctoral) in the administration and interpretation ofcurrently accepted batteries such as the Luria-Nebraska, Halstead-Reitan, orequivalent.Psychologists who are not privileged to perform NeuropsychologicalAssessments, but hold privileges in other categories, may continue to assessfor preliminary indications of neurologically related deficits as part of routineassessments in other areas.

E.BEHAVIOR TREATMENT PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEEApplicant for full privileges for appointment to the Behavior Management Committeemust satisfy the following requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in at least one of the following areas asdefined in MCCMH Policy MCO Policy 10-070:PhysicianProfessional CounselorPsychologistSocial WorkerNurse2.6MD, DO 6LPCLP, LLPMSW, LMSWMSN RN, BSN RNThe specially constituted body that is the MCCMH Behavior Treatment PlanReview Committee shall meet the requirements of the Michigan MedicaidProvider Manual.Board eligible or Board certified. Privileges for direct services to children and adolescents requireapplicants to have completed the Residency for this age group.

F.CASE MANAGEMENTApplicant for full privileges to perform Case management must satisfy the followingrequirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in at least one of the following areas asdefined in MCCMH MCO Policy 10-070:DietitianNurseOccupational TherapistPhysical TherapistPhysicianProfessional CounselorPsychologistSocial WorkerRDMSN RN, BSN RN, RNOTRDPT, MSPTMD, DO 7LPC, LLPC 8LP, LLP, TLLPLMSW (Clinical), LLMSW (Clinical) 9 ,LBSW, LLBSW 10Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service related field without above licensuremust be supervised by a QMHP or QIDPServices must be provided by a CMHP to any child beneficiary with SED.Services to children ages 7-17 with SED must be provided by a CMHP trainedin CAFAS.789102.One year experience working with people with mental illness.3.Applicant's transcript, résumé, and/or current job functions must indicatebasic knowledge and understanding of human behavior, awareness ofcommunity resources, and the ability to assess client needs and provideappropriate follow-up.Board eligible or Board certified. G.CLINICAL REVIEW AND APPROVALThe Clinical Review and Approval designation is applicable to s taff who provideclinical document sign off for MCCMH direct staff and independent contractors ofMCCMH programs are required to have this designation.Applicants for designation to perform clinical review and approval must satisfy thefollowing requirements:1.Applicant must hold credentials in at least one of the following areas asdefined in MCCMH MCO Policy 10-070:MHPQMHPQIDP2.3.11Three years of clinical work experience including at least one year of postdegree experience in a clinical setting similar to the one in which thedesignation will be exercised.One year of clinical review and approval experience in a mental healthsetting.4.Applicant’s transcript, resume, and/or current job functions must demonstrateexperience in identifying client needs, collaborating with relevantprofessionals in the formulation of diagnostic impressions, and proposingtherapeutic plans of service.5.Applicant’s resume and/or current job functions must demonstrate ability tomonitor, coordinate and oversee staff performance and activities in theprovision of treatment and support service.Board eligible or Board certified. H.
