About our instructorJosé Pérez-Bobadilla is Co-founder, Managing Director and a Certified Instructor atSDT Learning Corp., a leading computerbased learning and training center providing integrated training solutions and services for companies. Since its foundationin 1997, SDT Learning, Corp. has assisted, trained and provided services to over2,000 companies and about 20,000 students. Born in Puerto Rico, his motherArchitect Miriam Bobadilla and father Clinical Psychologist and Professor HéctorPérez, where among the co-founders ofMontessori’s schools in Puerto Rico. Pérez-Bobadilla commitmentto education became strongly influenced by his parents.In 1988, Pérez-Bobadilla enrolled in the Computer Sciences at theUniversity of Sacred Heart. While studying at USC, he was appointed as a T.A. for a Computational Course and also became aResearch assistant developing an artificial intelligence program.He also worked as a Computer Supervisor at the Academic Computer Center and prior to completing his degree at the USC, he became a Technical Instructor for the Department of Continued Education. While teaching at the USC, Pérez-Bobadilla was responsible for teaching desktop applications for adults. After graduation,he was hired by Oracle Corporation and worked as Technical Support Senior Analyst. The following year, he became the TechnicalSupport Team Leader at Oracle and often served as substitute Instructor for Oracle Education. In 1995 and in 1997, PérezBobadilla was recognized and awarded as the Most Valuable Player by Oracle Corporation.In 1997, his wife Denisse Vadell who was a Senior Instructor at Oracle Education, upon the company’s decision to restructure thedepartment, took the initiative and together with Pérez-Bobadilla,founded and inaugurated SDT Learning, Corp. As an Instructor,Pérez-Bobadilla has frequently traveled to offer numerous technology seminars and professional skill trainings in the continental US,the Caribbean and Latin America. He is also a pro bono motivational speaker advocating the interest for a career in ComputerSciences to High School students.
