It will provide delegateswith knowledge and practical experience, which will enable them to confidently work asa Chimney Sweep and trade as a NACS Member.Course Duration:5 days in total (four days training at the centre, the fifth day of training and assessmentwill be in the area where you reside with an Area Assessment Inspector).Course Times:Day 1 - 4: 9.00am – 5.00pmEntry Requirement:No chimney sweeping experience is necessary. How to book your courseYou can book your place online in the training course section at www.nacs.org.uk where you canfind the course dates and prices. The NACS website is continuously and automatically updatedtherefore all course dates showing on the website have availability. All bookings are made on afirst come first served basis and must be booked online by the candidate. Full payment will berequired at the time of booking in order to secure your place. Payment online can be made by debitcard, credit card, or PayPal. There are no charges for paying by any of these methods.Alternatively, you can telephone Martin Glynn on 01785 336555 to discuss the course and anydiscounts that may be available.AccommodationAccommodation is not included in the price of the course and it is the responsibility of candidates tobook and pay for their own accommodation and expenses. About NACSFormed in 1982, The National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) was the first ever UKChimney Sweeping Association. The NACS was put together by Chimney Sweeps in order topromote high standards for the sweeping industry, including the inspection and maintenance ofChimneys. With over 700 Members, the NACS is recommended by all major fuel organisations,including the Solid Fuel Association, HETAS, and OFTEC.The NACS owns and runs its own Chimney Sweeping Training Centre, appropriately named the“National Chimney Training Centre” which is conveniently based in Stone, Staffordshire.
