Member of the National Panhellenic Council: “Made up of 26 member organizations, the National Panhellenic Conference is the world’slargest umbrella organization specifically charged with advancing the sorority experience.Through its advocacy, NPC seeks to enlist nearly 5 million sorority women in its efforts toshowcase the transformational power of the sorority experience.” OUR GOALS: Support and advocate for Greek Life in our area. Provide support and resources for high school seniors considering recruitment.WHAT IS THE NWA PANHELLENICALUMNAE ASSOCIATION?

Legacy- Direct relative of a sorority member, usually daughter orsister. May include aunts and grandmothers for some organizations.GREEK SPEAKDEFINITIONSRecruitment- Formal Time of visiting sororities and making decisionsabout membership. May be held before in August before schoolstarts, during fall semester or during spring semester. (formerly calledrush).Recruitment Information Forms- Official form used by each sororityto recommend a prospective girl for membership. Also called SponsorForms, Recommendations, Recs, References. Register with NWAAPA!!!Letters of Support- Additional Alumnae Letters of Support arewelcomed by most organizations from personal references. Solicitthese letters of support by giving your resume with a picture directlyto your friends and family. Your resume should include allinformation included in the RIF form and a picture.
