LAUDERHILL 6-12 IS NOW ACAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONALSCHOOL IN 2020-2021!WE WILL BEGIN OUR CAMBRIDGEDIPLOMA PROGRAM WITH OUR9TH AND 10TH GRADE STUDENTS

Cambridge is a high-level collegepreparatory program.The AICE (Cambridge) curriculum requiresstudents to successfully complete aminimum of seven AICE courses and thecorresponding examinations.Students receive an AICE high schooldiploma when they pass the seven exams.

Students have only 3 years tocomplete the seven exams.Our current 9th graders would becompleted with the AICE diplomaby the end of their junior year.Our current 10th graders would becompleted with the AICE diplomaby the end of their senior year.

Benefits of AICEAll passed exams receive college credit for the course in addition to high schoolcredit.All AICE exams get two extra quality points in the weighted GPA.Students that obtain the Cambridge Diploma automatically receive (regardless ofSAT/ACT score) the Bright Futures Academic Scholarship.The Bright Futures Academic Scholarship pays 100% of tuition and books at anyState University in Florida.

All Cambridge students will be closely monitored to make sure they are on trackfor the Cambridge diploma.The expectation is that all Lauderhill 6-12 Magnet High School students will bediligent in all requirements for the Cambridge program.Parents and students needing more information should contact Mr. Frazier or Ms.Ellis for information and clarification of any Cambridge questions or concerns.
