Techstream ECU Flash Reprogramming Procedure Introduction Flash reprogramming allows the ECU software to be updated without replacing the ECU. second button disables the alarm and opens the door, I included a diode on the ETACS connection to avoid feedback. Needless to say, if you don’t have the factory alarm, don’t do the connections to the ETACS. Materials: 1N4001 ¼ Watt diode. I bought a bunch of these at Radio shack in the ‘70s.
