IntroductionBoating is becoming more popularevery year. There are numerous typesof recreational vessels on our waterwaystoday involved in an every growingnumber of activities. Therefore, as a newboat owner it is of the highest priorityto learn about general boating practicesbefore operating your craft.Your Regal dealer will answer many questions and provide valuable“hands on” information during the completion of the new boat deliveryprocess. In addition, your dealer has received special factory training onthe product line and his services should be employed to solve technicalproblems and periodic maintenance beyond the scope of this manual.Also, your Regal dealer carries a line of factory approved parts andaccessories.Your Regal dealer can provide information regarding national trainingorganizations such as the U.S. Power Squadron and United States CoastGuard Auxiliary. Along with other organizations and literature, they canhelp build your “boating savvy” by developing the necessary skills andawareness to be a safe and component skipper. Your local library can alsohelp in providing recommended boating literature such as ChapmanPiloting (Seamanship & Boat Handling by Elbert S. Maloney).Remember, the waterways can change from normal to abnormal conditionsin a heartbeat. YOUR REGAL OWNER’S MANUALYour Regal owner’s manual has been developed to assist you inoperating your vessel with safety and pleasure. Be sure to read andbecome familiar with the contents before operating your craft. Yourowner’s manual has been divided into general chapters to assist you inbecoming more familiar with your Regal boat. Also, a technical sectionis featured which can be valuable in troubleshooting This manual isnot intended to be a complete source of boating maintenance, boathandling techniques, boating safety or seamanship. These skills requireeducation and experience levels beyond this manual.In keeping with its commitment to continued improvement,Regal notes that all drawings, specifications, models, standardand optional equipment referred to in this manual are subjectto change without notice. A portion of the equipment described may notbe installed on your boat or the pictorials may not exactly match your components.Selected illustrations in this owner’s manual may represent typical examples.OWNER’S INFORMATION PACKETRegal has provided an information pouch aboard the vessel. Readand become familiar with the materials. This packet contains valuableliterature on your propulsion package, standard and optional equipment,systems and various care,cleaning and maintenance instructions. Besure to store the information pouch in a clean dry area.GENERAL INFORMATIONHull Identification Number (HIN)The United States Coast Guard has established a universal system ofnumerically identifying vessels by using a hull identification number or“HIN.” This number identifies your Regal boat model, hull number,month and year of manufacture.INT-8

IntroductionThe HIN is normally found in the vicinity of the starboard transomrub rail. The domestic HIN consists of 12 alpha or numeric characters.It is recommended that you locate and write down the HIN for futurereference. It can be especially useful when ordering parts from yourRegal dealer. A second HIN number is found in a hidden location. Thissecond HIN is useful to authorities if for example the boat is stolenand the original transom HIN is unreadable or eliminated.TYPICAL HIN LOCATIONRUB RAILTRANSOMRGMWL000E516RGMMA0000C202Vessel Information SheetIt is recommended that you fill out the information on the followingpage. It will supply vital statistics on your vessel. Make a copy of thedata for safe keeping at home.Vessel Float PlanFill out the float plan on the followingpage before departing. Leave it witha responsible person who will notifythe United States Coast Guard orlocal law enforcement authorities ifyou do not return as planned. If youchange your plans be sure to notifythis person. Make copies of the float plan and use one each time yougo boating. This will help people know where to find you should younot return on schedule. LAUNCH & CRUISE CHECKLIST Obtaina current weather report. Inspectthe hull and propeller for damage. Checkall electrical system switches for proper operation. Ifyour boat has been in the water, run the bilge pump untilthe flow of water stops. Ifyour boat has been out of the water, check to see that allbilge water has drained out. Install the drain plug. Checkthat all required safety equipment is on board and ingood working condition. Checkthat all other equipment is on board such as mooringlines, first aid kit, tool kit and extra parts. Openengine compartment. Inspect for fuel odors and visibleleaks in the fuel, oil, exhaust & power steering systems. Visuallyinspect engine for cracked hoses, defective belts,loose fasteners such as bolts, nuts and hose clamps. Checkfuel level. Fuel tanks should be filled to near fullcapacity. Make sure all navigation charts, equipment and vesselregistration paperwork are onboard. Checkoperation of bilge blower, steering system, navigationlights and horn. Makesure passengers and crew know how to operate safetyequipment and react to an emergency. FileINT-12a float plan with a responsible party ashore.

Yacht PlateAt the helm area on Regal boats 26’ and longer is located a yacht plateas shown below. This plate represents manufacturers who participatein the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association yacht certificationprogram. This program goes beyond the minimum USCG standardsto ensure adherence to the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC)standards. NMMA approved inspectors are utilized to verify complianceto these standards.Note the yacht plate information below: The operator of the craft must read and understand the plateinformation before operating the vessel. The boat operator is responsible for the vessel and the safetyof his passengers.TYPICAL EXAMPLE SHOWNSafe LoadingThe vessel operator is responsible for his passengers. Follow the seatposition illustration in the technical section of this manual. Explain toall passengers before the outing the importance of keeping the overallload balanced. Also, emphasize that passengers must remain seated whilethe vessel is in motion for the safety of the other passengers. Make surethat all passengers are positioned in their seats to afford clear visibilityfor the operator in all directions. Appoint passengers as “lookouts” forthe operator and to signal before a dangerous situation develops.INT-14

IntroductionOwner’s Registration & Systems ChecklistPlease note that your Regal boat requires the proper registration byyour authorized Regal dealer. To initiate your warranty the dealer mustcomplete the owner’s registration form and systems checklist at the timeof delivery. The owner must sign the paperwork to acknowledge thatthe dealer has reviewed the boat systems and warranty provisions withthe owner. The owner should keep the original paperwork that featuresa temporary warranty registration. A Regal express limited warrantycertificate containing all relevant boat and engine serial numbers willbe sent after the factory receives the paperwork.Dealer’s ResponsibilityYour boat has undergone rigid quality assurance inspections beforeleaving the factory. However, your dealer has been trained to performfinal pre-delivery checks and to service your Regal boat prior to yourpick-up. Your dealer’s responsibilities include: A complete orientation in the operation of your Regal boat,including matters relating to the safe operation of your craft. Completion and mailing of your boat registration warranty formto Regal. Warranties, registration materials, owner’s manual, operation,installation and maintenance instructions for all auxiliary equipmentsupplied with or installed on your Regal boat.INT-15

Owner’s ResponsibilityYou are entitled to all the benefits and services outlined in your Regalboat warranty. However, you have certain responsibilities to ensurewarranty satisfaction. These are: To read the warranty materials and understand them fully. To examine the boat in detail at the time of delivery. Apply the following: boating rules and regulations, safetyequipment, environmental regulations, accident reports and warrantyregulations terms and conditions. To read thoroughly all literature supplied with your boat, includingthis owner’s manual and to follow the recommendations in theliterature. To return the boat after the recommended hours of engineoperation for the proper dealer service inspections. To provide proper maintenance and periodic servicing of yourboat and equipment as set forth in the various manuals supplied.INT-16

We are very pleased that you have chosen a RegalPowerboat!This document is your Warranty Registration Certificate and Statement of Warranty. Please check theregistration information section for accuracy. If this information is not correct or if you change youraddress at some future date, please notify us at the following address: Regal Marine Industries, Inc.Attention: Warranty Registrations, 2300 Jetport Drive, Orlando, Florida 32809Please read the warranty carefully. It contains important information on Regal’s claims procedures andyour rights and obligations under this warranty.WHAT IS COVERED: This Limited Warranty applies only to Regal boats beginning with modelyear 2013.LIFETIME LIMITED STRUCTURAL HULL WARRANTY:Regal MarineIndustries, Inc. warrants to the original retail purchaser of this boat if purchased from an authorizedRegal dealer that the selling dealer or Regal will repair or replace the fiberglass hull if it is found to bestructurally defective in material or workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the boat.For purposes of this warranty, the hull is defined as the single fiberglass casting which rests on the water.This limited warranty is subject to all limitations and conditions explained below.FIVE-YEAR TRANSFERABLE LIMITED STRUCTURAL HULLWARRANTY: In addition to the Lifetime Limited Structural Hull Warranty, Regal offers a TransferableFive-Year Limited Structural Hull Warranty. Under the Five-Year Transferable Limited Structural HullWarranty, Regal will repair or replace the fiberglass hull if it is found to be structurally defective in materialor workmanship within the first (5) years after the date of delivery to the original retail purchaser. Anyremaining term of this Five-Year Limited Hull Warranty may be transferred to a second owner if within60 days of purchase, the new owner registers the transfer with Regal and pays the established warrantytransfer fee. Contact Regal Customer Service at the above address for details.FIVE-YEAR LIMITED HULL BLISTER WARRANTY: Regal will Warrant to theoriginal retail purchaser, any underwater gelcoated surfaces of the hull against laminate blisters whichoccur as a result of defects in material or workmanship within (5) years of the date of delivery, providedthat the original factory gelcoat surface has not been altered. Alternation would include but is not limitedto damage repair; excessive sanding, scraping, sandblasting; or from improper surface preparation forapplication of a marine barrier coating or bottom paint, any of which shall void this Five-Year LimitedHull Blister Warranty. Regal Marine shall repair or cause to be repaired any covered laminate blistersbased on the following prorated schedule. Less than two (2) years from delivery date - 100%, Two (2) tothree (3) years from delivery date - 75%, Three (3) to four (4) years from delivery date - 50%, Four (4) tofive (5) years from delivery date - 25%.Reimbursement shall be limited to one repair, not to exceed ( 80.00) dollars per foot of boat length priorto prorating. Regals prior authorization for the method and cost of repair, must be obtained before repairsare commenced. All costs to transport the boat for repairs are the responsibility of the owner.INT-18

IntroductionLIMITED GENERAL WARRANTY: In addition to above hull warranties, Regal warrantsto the original purchaser of this boat if purchased from an authorized dealer that the dealer or Regal willrepair or replace any parts found to be defective in materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) yearfrom the date of delivery, subject to all limitations and conditions contained herein.LIMITED EXTERIOR FINISH WARRANTY: Regal warrants that the selling dealeror Regal will repair cosmetic defects in the exterior gelcoated finish including cracks or crazing reportedto Regal within 90 days from the date of delivery to the original purchaser, subject to all limitations andconditions contained herein. All warranty work is to be performed at a Regal dealership or other locationauthorized by a Regal Customer Service Manager after it is established to Regal’s satisfaction that thereis a defect in material or workmanship.REGISTRATION INFORMATION:CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS: The following are conditions precedentto the availability of any benefits under these limited warranties:(a) The purchaser must sign and the dealer must submit to Regal the “OWNERREGISTRATION AND SYSTEMS CHECKLISTFORM within ten (10) days of the date of delivery and such information must beon file at Regal.(b) The purchaser must first notify the dealer from whom the boat was purchasedof any claim under this warranty within the applicable warranty period and withina reasonable period of time (not to exceed thirty (30) days) after the defect is orshould have been discovered.(c) Regal will not be responsible to repair or replace any part, (1) if the use of theboat is continued after the defect is or should have been discovered; and (2) if suchcontinued use causes other or additional damage to the boat or component partsof the boat.(d) Based on the dealer’s knowledge of Regal’s warranty policy and/or consultationswith Regal, the dealer will accept the claim and arrange for appropriate repairs to beperformed, or deny the claim if it is not within the warranty.(e) The dealer will contact the Regal boat owner regarding instructions for deliveryof boat or part for warranty repair if it is covered by the limited warranty.ALL COSTS TO TRANSPORT THE BOAT FOR REPAIRS ARE THERESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER;(f) If the Regal boat owner believes a claim has been denied in error or the dealerhas performed t
