CSIR Tender DocumentationContractors are to price in the Bill of Quantities providedA Standard CSIR contract will be signed as a form of agreement.3ELIMINATION CRITERIABidders will be eliminated if they fail to provide the following information: Submission after the deadline; Failure to submit 3 contactable references, where similar work was rendered. Proposals submitted at incorrect location; Non-attendance of the compulsory briefing session / site inspection; Failure to submit a letter of good standing issued by the Department of Labour(COID); and Non – submission of a Valid CIDB registration certificate, Level 2GB gradingdesignation.4EVALUATION CRITERIA4.1Bidders that are eliminated as per elimination criteria above, will not be evaluated onprice and B-BBEE.4.2Selection of suppliers will be based on the 80/20 preference point system.4.3Submit a certified copy of a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit with thequotation. VAT), with details on priceelements that are subject to escalation and exchange rate fluctuations clearly indicated.5.2Payment will be according to the CSIR Payment Terms and Conditions.5.3The price should be firm and inclusive of all services required to complete theproject including disbursements.6OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS6.1The supplier shall under no circumstances offer, promise or make any gift, payment,loan, reward, inducement, benefit or other advantage, which may be construed asbeing made to solicit any favour, to any CSIR employee or its representatives.6.2Such an act shall constitute a material breach of the Agreement and the CSIR shall beentitled to terminate the Agreement forthwith, without prejudice to any of its rights.7.Quotations to be emailed to: tender@csir.co.za no later than 16h30.8.
