Excessive pump inlet pressure at high boat speed iseliminated, yet allows full pump performance at rest. Water is directed past specially designed entryramps of the flow guide to create a circular flow pattern.As boat speed increases, so does the centrifugal forceor pressure of this flow making it increasingly difficultfor the flow to move radially inward, toward the centeroutlet, thus eliminating excessive pressure and flow. Asboat speed is reduced, the centrifugal force and pressureare reduced accordingly. The result is a more uniformcontrolled flow to the pump inlet at all speeds.
