There are many different ways you can use my color-by-number activities. Here are some ideas to help you utilize this resource.SUGGESTED USES OF MY COLOR BY NUMBERS:1. Use as a classroom assignment when you have time to spare2. Give to early finishers who need a challenge3. Assign as homework4. Use as a fun sub lesson5. Use as a quiz6. Give to students who have ISS (In School Suspension)7. Give to students during a long station activity. Students who finishtheir station early can work on the color-by-number. This will helpstations flow and minimize behavior problems due to idle time.8. Save for Fun Fridays or Rainy Days9. Make it a fun group challenge. See below for directions.GROUP CHALLENGE DIRECTIONS:1.2.3.4.5.6.Copy the question sheet and blank coloring page front to back.Announce to students: “You will be receiving a paper that includes questions regardingPhotosynthesis. Your job is to work in teams to correctly answerthe questions. It is important that you discuss each question asa team. Everybody will receive their own question sheet, but allteam members should have the exact same answers. If you donot know an answer, make your best educated guess. The teamwith the most questions answered correctly will get a prize!”Pass one assignment to each student and send them to their team(either assigned or let them choose their teammates). I recommendteams of 3-4 students.Give the class approximately 20-30 minutes to complete thequestions.Once time is up, tell students to get out a pen and review the correctanswers. I would just allow students to grade their own papers butemphasize that it is important for them to grade honestly. You can give the team with the most correct answers a prize such asearly to lunch passes, extra credit, or whatever reward you have onhand.

photosynthesis of an aquatic plant [Elodea]. The rate of photosynthesis can be determined by measuring the concentration of dissolved oxygen as the plant undergoes photosynthesis. There are multiple methods for measuring the rate of photosynthesis including: The uptake of CO 2 The production and release of O 2

In this live Gr 11 Life Sciences show we take a look at Photosynthesis. In this lesson we study the process of photosynthesis looking at the light and dark phases. We discuss the importance of photosynthesis as well as consider the effects of varying amou nts of light, carbon dioxide and temperature on the rate of photosynthesis.

LAB 8 – Photosynthesis . Objectives. 1. Assess CO 2 consumption and O 2 production during photosynthesis. 2. Analyze the role of light in photosynthesis. 3. Examine the effect of different wavelengths of visible light on photosynthesis. Introduction . In order to , organisms require a source of
