The purpose of Faculty and StaffApplication is to provide local education agencies (LEAs) a platform to submit their annual Faculty and Staff data toOSSE. The application addresses the below.1. Allow LEAs to add or update their faculty and staff data within the application or by file upload.2. Allow Heads of Schools to certify their faculty and staff data at the end of collection window.Data Collection TimelineEvery LEA will receive their previously submitted data via the Faculty and Staff Application. By default, the LEA filter is applied to the Summary Page and displays the related counts; however, the schoolfilter can be applied to view the counts by a specific school.2. Click the Clear Filters () icon to remove all applied filters.KPIs, Tables and Bar ChartsThe Summary Page displays the counts for several KPIs, tables and bar charts. Some of the KPIs and bar charts can beclicked to view the related information on the Staff, Vacancy or Other reports page. Also the KPI, tables and barcharts exclude staff with no UFSI, Returning Status Leaver-LEA or FTE Percentage 0 unless otherwise specified.NOTE: At the time of application release, all the KPIs and tables show zero as the returning status for staff membersis set to blank in pre-populated data. OSSE requires the followinginformation in order to create a UFSI: First Name; Last Name; Date of Birth; and Last four digits of SSN.The LEA should ensure that the First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and SSN arecomplete and accurate.NOTE: UFSI is assigned nightly by OSSE; therefore, when an LEA enters a new staffmember, the UFSI is null and the application displays this error. There is no actionneeded by the LEA at this time. LEAs need to review the data if the error persists thenext calendar day.One day4. Grade Spans with No Reported Teachers Data ErrorThe application generates Grade Spans with No Reported Teachers Data Error when the grade spans the LEA servesdo not have any reported teachers in the respective grade spans.
