ENHow Neato WorksHOUSE CLEANINGAUTO CHARGE AND RESUMERETURNING TO BASEIn normal operation, Neato comes off ofits base, explores its surroundings andstarts cleaning. It starts cleaning in sectionsapproximately 15’x15’ depending on layoutand furniture in the room. It will continue toclean section by section until the entire area iscleaned. If the area the Neato robot is attemptingto clean is very large, the robot will returnto its base mid-cleaning to recharge. Oncerecharged, it will return to finish where it leftoff. A complete cleaning cycle includes 3cleanings and 2 recharges so that Neato canclean very large areas on one level. For best results, we recommend you startyour robot from its charge base. Whenstarted from its charge base, it has a betterresult in returning to base when it is complete.Your Neato robot will also try to clean oneroom fully before moving on to the next, assuming it can detect your doorways. If itcleans a partial room, your Neato robot willcome back to finish the room before finishingthe complete job.SINGLE ROOM CLEANINGIf you just want to clean a single room, youcan manually place your robot in the room, press the start button, and close the door.Your Neato robot will clean the room, andreturn to where you originally placed it in theroom. When the robot has finished cleaning, please put the robot back on its charge base.MOVING A ROBOT MID-CLEANINGIt is not recommended to pick up your robotand move it mid-cleaning. It can becomedisoriented, not follow its normal smartbehavior, and have difficulty finding its chargebase. If you pick up your robot, put it backdown within 1 foot of where you pickedit up for best results.11
