Alsoincludes trip-interruption benefits as well astrip routing services.䉯 New Vehicle Limited Warranty: Limitedcoverage for defects in materials andworkmanship for 4 years/50,000 miles fromthe original in-service date, whichever comesfirst. Warranty repairs will only be made atauthorized BMW centers using genuine BMWParts.The 2016 BMW i3 with Range Extender is certifiedto California’s stringent Super Ultra Low EmissionVehicle (SULEV) standards and also qualifies as aType II Zero Emission Vehicle with Range Extender(Type IIx ZEV) under the California Air ResourcesBoard Zero Emission Vehicle program. In additionto very low tailpipe and zero-evaporativeemissions, this certification includes a uniquePartial Zero Emission Vehicle (PZEV) warrantywhen the vehicle is registered in California andcertain other states, as indicated in the PZEVsection beginning on page 24. PZEV modelsregistered in Delaware, Oregon, Pennsylvania andWashington are covered by the California EmissionWarranty beginning on page 25.The BMW Maintenance ProgramBMW Maintenance Program coverage isprovided for the exclusive benefit of the initialpurchaser, owner, or lessee of a new vehicle,sales demonstrator vehicle, Aftersales MobilityProgram (AMP) vehicle, or BMW Group companyvehicle from an authorized BMW center in theUnited States (including Puerto Rico).The emission certification standard can beverified on the Vehicle Emission ControlInformation label located on the undersidesurface of the tailgate. A representative label isshown below; the Type IIx ZEV certification isstated after the word “California.”Accordingly, BMW Maintenance Programcoverage, with one exception, is not transferableto subsequent purchasers, owners, or lessees.The sole exception to the non-transferability ofBMW Maintenance Program coverage is thathousehold transfers – transfers within the UnitedStates (including Puerto Rico) to members of thehousehold of the initial purchaser, owner, orlessee of the vehicle from an authorized BMWcenter – will not terminate BMW MaintenanceProgram coverage.
