This systemcally returns to the ON/RUN position.consists of a Key Fob with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)transmitter and a Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) with NOTE: If your vehicle is equipped with Keyless Enterintegral ignition switch. You can insert the Key Fob into N-Go , the Electronic Vehicle Information Centerthe ignition switch with either side up.(EVIC) will display the ignition switch position (OFF/ACC/RUN). It has four operating positions, three withdetents and one that is spring-loaded. The detent positions are OFF, ACC, and ON/RUN. The START position

Insert thesquare end of the key fob into the ignition switch locatedon the instrument panel and rotate to the desired position. It also contains the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)transmitter and an emergency key, which stores in therear of the Key Fob.The emergency key allows for entry into the vehicle shouldthe battery in the vehicle or the Key Fob go dead. Theemergency key is also for locking the glove box. You cankeep the emergency key with you when valet parking.Wireless Ignition Node (WIN)1234— OFF— ACCESSORY (ACCESSORY)— ON/RUN— STARTNOTE: Entering a vehicle using the emergency key withthe Vehicle Security Alarm armed, will result in the alarmsounding. Insert the Key Fob (even if the Key Fob batteryis dead) into the ignition switch to disarm the VehicleSecurity Alarm or press the Start/Stop button to disarmthe security alarm.2

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE 15NOTE: The power window switches, radio, power sunroof — if equipped, and ignition-powered power outletswill remain active for up to 60 minutes after the ignitionswitch is turned to the LOCK position. Opening either doorwill cancel this feature. The time for this feature is programmable. Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)/Personal Settings (Customer-ProgrammableFeatures)” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” forfurther information.CAUTION! If your vehicle battery becomes low or dead, yourKey Fob will become locked in the ignition. Do not attempt to remove the Key Fob while in thiscondition, damage could occur to the Key Fob orignition module. Only remove the emergency keyfor locking and unlocking the doors.(Continued)CAUTION! (Continued) Leave the Key Fob in the ignition and either: Jump Start the vehicle. Charge the battery.WARNING! Before exiting a vehicle, always apply the parkingbrake, shift the transmission into PARK or themanual transmission in REVERSE, and remove theKey Fob from the ignition. When leaving thevehicle, always lock your vehicle. Never leave children alone in a vehicle, or withaccess to an unlocked vehicle.(Continued)2

A child orothers could be seriously or fatally injured. Children should be warned not to touch the parkingbrake, brake pedal or the shift lever. Do not leave the Key Fob in or near the vehicle, orin a location accessible to children, and do notleave the ignition of a vehicle equipped withKeyless Enter-N-Go in the ACC or ON/RUNmode. A child could operate power windows, othercontrols, or move the vehicle. Do not leave children or animals inside parkedvehicles in hot weather. Interior heat build-up maycause serious injury or death.CAUTION!An unlocked car is an invitation to thieves. Alwaysremove the Key Fob from vehicle, cycle the ignitionOFF with Keyless Enter-N-Go , and lock all doorswhen leaving the vehicle unattended.Key-In-Ignition ReminderOpening the driver’s door when the Key Fob is in theignition and the ignition switch position is OFF or ACC,sounds a signal to remind you to remove the Key Fob.NOTE: The Key-In-Ignition reminder only sounds whenthe Key Fob is placed in the OFF or ACC ignitionposition.If your vehicle is equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go ,opening the driver’s door when the vehicle’s ignitionswitch is placed in ACC or ON/RUN (engine stopped)
