WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITYReduced Fare Program for People with DisabilitiesPeople with disabilities who use accessible bus and rail public transportation maybe eligible to ride at a discounted farewith a Metro Reduced Fare SmarTrip IDcard for people with disabilities. The cardis programmed to deduct one-half ofthe peak fare on Metrorail and Metrobusat all times. The Metro Reduced FareSmarTrip ID card is valid for discountedfare on MARC train, Maryland MTA busand light rail, Fairfax Connector, CUE bus,DC Circulator, Arlington Transit (ART),and Amtrak.The initial Metro Reduced Fare SmarTrip card for people with disabilities is free. Areplacement fee is required replace lostcards.
