Dear Fellow Trojans:As we say goodbye to another spectacular year for bothUSC and the Trojan Family, it’s time to reflect on the manyaccomplishments of the last 12 months.This past spring, the Campaign for the University of SouthernCalifornia crossed the 5 billion mark. Alumni have contributed 1.8 billion of this amount—nearly 40% of the total raised todate—in support of USC’s people and programs.The 2015-16 academic year was also a resounding successfor the USC Alumni Association (USCAA), which continued toengage the Trojan Family through programming, events and ournew USC Fight Online mobile app. As always, the USCAA hostedhundreds of events and programs, while providing a widearray of benefits and services to more than 379,000 alumniworldwide.We wish to sincerely thank the thousands of Trojans whosupport the university and the USCAA in so many ways—ourcolleagues, partners, staff and friends. We are truly grateful toSenior Vice President for University Advancement Al Checciofor his unwavering support. We also owe a debt of gratitudeto Ramona L. USC Day of SCupportDuring the first-ever USC Day of SCupport on May 4, the USC community from aroundthe world—alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends—came together todemonstrate the loyalty and generosity of the Trojan Family.Just before the stroke of midnight at the end of the USC Day of SCupport, wesurpassed the 3,000-donor mark—making our inaugural USC Day of SCupport agreat success, thanks to you.

The USC Alumni Association supports nearly 100 affiliated alumniorganizations worldwide, including regional, alumnae (women’s),generational, affinity and school-based groups, and industry networks.Worldwide Regional ProgramsGenerational ProgramsWith 70 alumni clubs and chapters inmajor cities across the country andaround the globe, Trojans everywhereare connecting at standout academic,cultural, philanthropic and social events.Half Century TrojansRevered across campus as the stewardsof USC history and tradition, the HalfCentury Trojans strengthen the bonds thatconnect USC alumni across generations,while also providing scholarships todeserving USC students.Encore TrojansEncore Trojans, ranging in age fromthe mid-40s to 70, stay connected toeach other and the university throughsocial networking, profession-centeredprogramming and service opportunities.Second Decade SocietyNow in its eighth year, the Second DecadeSociety provides alumni engagementprograms geared to alumni ages 35-45.Young Alumni CouncilThe Young Alumni Council offers events,webinars and career events tailored toalumni ages 35 or younger.Student Alumni SocietyThe Student Alumni Society helps connectcurrent USC students to the Trojan Familythrough events and programs, whilemembers of the society’s leadership board,Society 53, serve as official ambassadorsat university and USCAA events.Industry NetworksTrojan Entertainment NetworkThrough professional, career-related,educational and social events, the TrojanEntertainment Network connects USCalumni who work in film, television, music,video games, sports, theater and digitalto one another and to the university.

Affinity ProgramsAlumnae GroupsThe women of all generations whoparticipate in the USC AlumniAssociation’s alumnae groups discoversupport and friendship through socialand networking events, philanthropicprojects and community involvement.USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association(APAA)The APAA connects and supports USCalumni of Asian Pacific origin/descentwith the university and one another,lifelong and worldwide, through meaningfuland relevant programs, many of whichraise scholarship support for currentUSC students.USC Black Alumni Association (BAA)The BAA is an alumni leadership networkestablished to strengthen the legacy ofeducational attainment and excellenceamong USC’s black students. It providesscholarship assistance, career mentoringand cultural advocacy through alumnivolunteer involvement, philanthropy andsocial enterprise.USC Lambda LGBT Alumni AssociationUSC Lambda connects lesbian, gay,bisexual, transgender and allied Trojansto each other and the university. Eachyear, it awards scholarships to studentswho demonstrate a dedication toLGBT issues, regardless of sexual orgender identity.USC Latino Alumni Association (LAA)The LAA is devoted to the academicadvancement and development of Latinostudents attending USC. The associationis made up of USC alumni, students andfriends working together to providesupport, leadership training, serviceopportunities and networking.USC Alumni Veterans NetworkThe USC Alumni Veterans Network—open to all USC alumni who have servedin our nation’s armed forces—strengthens the community of Trojanveterans through educational andservice-oriented engagement.Alumni Real Estate NetworkThe Alumni Real Estate Network connectsTrojans who work in real estate throughprofessional, career-related, educationaland social events.Alumni Education NetworkThe Alumni Education Networkstrengthens ties among education alumni,including those working in K-12, highereducation, non-profits and policy-making.

Annual Events and ProgramsUSC Alumni Leadership ConferenceOn September 3-4, the USC AlumniLeadership Conference brought togethernearly 300 volunteer leaders from across theuniversity and around the world to examineand discuss alumni engagement, leadershipand organization development.Volunteer Recognition DinnerOn September 3, the USC Alumni Association honored 32 outstanding volunteers fromalumni clubs and organizations throughout the university who have devoted their timeand energy to serving USC.Notre Dame WeekenderHundreds of Trojans descended on Chicagoand South Bend in October to root for theTrojans—one of five fun-filled away-gamecelebrations over the course of the 2015Trojan Football season.Reunion Weekend and HomecomingSix generations of Trojans (undergraduateclasses of 1965, 1975, 1985, 1990, 1995 and2005) were welcomed back to Troy this fallto reconnect, rediscover and reunite forReunion Weekend 2015, while the annualHomecoming celebration attracted morethan 80,000 members of the Trojan Familyto the University Park Campus.The 2015 USC Global Conference/2015 International Alumni Leaders SymposiumThe 2015 USC Global Conference drew more than 700 guests to Shanghai, China, in October togain insights into “Innovations for a Rapidly Changing World,” from leading global executivesand academics. In addition, international alumni leaders attended the 2015 InternationalAlumni Leaders Symposium in Shanghai to hear university updates and share best practices.

USC Women’s ConferenceThe 8th Annual USC Women’s Conferencein March—“The Collective Wisdom ofRole Models & Risk Takers”—broughttogether USC alumnae, parents, students,faculty, staff and friends for a memorableday of empowerment, inspiration andprofessional networking.USC Alumni Day of SCerviceWith more than 3,400 participants in morethan 100 projects around the world, the5th Annual USC Alumni Day of SCervice inMarch provided rich opportunities for alumniand friends to volunteer for local serviceprojects organized by our USC alumni clubs,chapters and other affiliated groups.Trojan TravelTrojan Travel sponsored more than 40 tripsin 2015-16, representing a wide array oftop-notch travel programs designed for allmembers of the extended Trojan Family.USC Alumni AwardsIn April, the USCAA celebrated the accomplishments of seven exceptional Trojans at the 83rd Annual USC Alumni Awards.William J.
