In 2015 he was recognized by Toronto’s JuniorAchievement chapter with their Bold Thinkers Inspiring Leaders award for taking risks andchallenging convention. In 2016 he was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross by Canada’sGovernor General.Shaun enjoys endurance sports and in 2012 co-led an expedition to Everest Base Camp andthe summit of Island Peak, a 6,189-metre Himalayan Peak adjacent to Mount Everest. Theexpedition featured 12 injured Canadian soldiers raising funds and awareness for TruePatriot Love Foundation and injured veterans. It was the subject of a national prime timedocumentary named March to the Top airing on the CBC in February 2013. In 2014 Shaunco-led another True Patriot Love Expedition to the Magnetic North Pole, which was also thesubject of a national prime time documentary on the History Channel. In 2017 Shauncompleted his third True Patriot Love Expedition retracing the route of Canadian explorerGeorge Douglas in the Northwest Territories to celebrate Canada’s 150thanniversary as anation.Simon & Schuster published Shaun’s first book, Eat, Move, Think: The Path to a Healthier,Stronger Happier You, which debuted as a national bestseller in 2018.Shaun earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and aBachelor of Science with honors and merit from the United States Naval Academy inAnnapolis, Maryland after he received a nomination from President Reagan to attend as aCanadian. In addition to serving both at seaand ashore with the Navy, Bryn served as the Commander of the Canadian ForcesRecruiting Group, Director General Financial Management, and finally as Assistant Deputy

Minister Finance and Corporate Services and Senior Full-time Financial Officer for theDepartment of National Defence.Bryn completed the full range of Leadership Courses at the Canadian Forces College, as wellas earning both a Certified Professional Accounting (CPA/CMA) and ProfessionalLogistician (P.Log) designations. Geneviève Bonin, DirectorGeneviève is a partner with McKinsey & Company. Geneviève focuses on solving complexproblems to bring value to society in working closely with Public Sector organizations. Shespecializes in strategy and innovation and has managed a number of complextransformational programs from strategy through value realization. She has spent themajority of her career working very closely with the public sector at all levels ofgovernment but also has experience in a number of other industries. Her internationalexperience includes serving on global boards, studying and also serving as a member of theCanadian Forces overseas.Geneviève is actively involved in the professional and broader public community andserves on a number of boards including True Patriot Love Foundation, Toronto Global andthe Royal Ottawa Hospital Institute for Mental Health Research. Prior to joining GluskinSheff in 2010, Geordie worked at Goldman Sachs for eight years in London, UK, as anExecutive Director in the Interest Rate Products group. He previously worked in the energyindustry, structuring electricity and gas derivative transactions for the North Americanmarkets. Prior thereto he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.

Geordie graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with an undergraduatedegree in Astrophysics. He received his MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School ofBusiness, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and received the Alexander A. RobichekAward, given to the top student in finance.Geordie enjoys a range of endurance sports. He has completed two Ironman triathlons(Canada and California), the UK’s Tough Guy race, Ottawa’s Spartan Beast competition andthe SEALFIT Kokoro camp modelled after the US Navy SEAL Hell Week. In addition toserving on the True Patriot Love board, Geordie is a participant in the True Patriot LoveExpedition series. He took part in the ski to the Magnetic North Pole in April 2014, and wasa True Patriot Love civilian co-chair for the 2016 expedition to climb Mt. Vinson inAntarctica. He has been a youth hockey coach for many years and is a Scout Leader for theToronto 219th Troop.Originally from British Columbia, Geordie lives in Toronto with his wife Karen and theirtwo children, Jeffrey and Kathryn.Matt Tedford, DirectorMatt Tedford is the Canadian and Americas Managing Partner for KPMG’s Deal Advisorypractice.
