Hats and Electronic PolicyHats, Caps, & Head Coverings Policy Hats, caps, and other head coverings shall not be worn indoors,unless they are worn for religious or medical reasons. Approved hats may be worn during outside activities for sunprotection.Electronics Policy Any personal electronic device may be used before schoolbegins and after the regular school day ends or during thelunch period when outside. The device shall not be usedduring class as a camera, calculator, and/or for email or textmessaging and shall be turned off during class time and atany other time as directed by a school employee. The devicemay only be used for academic purposes with staff approvaland shall not disrupt the education program or school activity.

Dress Code Shoes must be worn at all times. Absence of undergarments is prohibited. Clothing shallbe sufficient to conceal undergarments at all times.See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops,off-the-shoulder or low-cut tops, tube or strapless tops,bare midriffs, and skirts or shorts that show the buttocksare prohibited. Bathing suits are not permitted as outer wear, exceptwhen in use for a P.E. activity or athletic activity. Clothing, jewelry and personal items (backpacks, fannypacks, gym bags, water bottles, etc.) shall be free ofwriting, pictures or any other insignia which are crude,vulgar, profane or sexually suggestive, which bear drug,alcohol or tobacco company advertising, promotionsand likenesses, or which advocate racial, ethnic orreligious prejudice. Clothing or grooming that is obscene or defamatory, orthat so incites students to create a clear and presentdanger of the commission of unlawful acts on schoolpremises, or the violation of school regulations, or thesubstantial disruption of the orderly operation of theschool is not permitted. Staying Safe Better in PersonKeeping Schools Clean MERV 13 hospital-grade filters installed in allschool HVAC units and air purifiers inclassrooms. Routine cleaning of frequently touched surfacesand restrooms. Trained custodial staff will clean and disinfectschool campus to CDC and Department of PublicHealth guidelines. Lunch tables cleaned in the morning and aftereach use. Wipes and hand sanitizers available in allclassrooms and offices.
