Fittings for grooved-end pipe areavailable through 24" Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) and metric sizes in avariety of styles. AnvilStar also offers Short Pattern Products through8" to meet all of your fire protection needs. Plain-end fittings are alsoavailable through 16" NPS in a variety of styles. Other materials includestainless steel and copper.Anvil’s Gruvlok Couplings provide quick and easy installation. Durablematerial construction make these ideal for almost any fire protectionapplication in both wet and dry systems. The couplings' housing is madefrom ductile iron conforming to ASTM-A536, Grade 65-45-12 and areavailable in sizes ranging from 1" through 30". Couplings, are UL/ULCListed and FM Approved in all standard sizes. They come with DRISEAL (lubeless) gaskets, identified by purple nuts.The line of Gruvlok Sock-It Fittings includes tees, tees compatible withmost light wall pipe with NPT threaded outlets, straight couplings, 90ºelbows and reducing elbows with pressures ranging as high as 300 psi.AnvilStar is the only provider in the industry that offers 21 2" Sock-itFittings for larger diameter end-prep pipe connections.The Gruvlok 7012 Flange allows direct connection of Class 125 orClass 150 flanged components to a grooved piping system. This flange isthe fitter’s best friend as it opens with a hinge pin and allows the easiestinstallation for a pipe fitter.
GRUVLOK VALVESGruvlok Valves are compact, cost effective and designed foruse in grooved-end pipe fire protection systems and relatedequipment. They are UL/ULC listed and FM Approved with aworking pressure of 300 psi.The Gruvlok AE Grooved End Butterfly Valve is UL Listed andFM Approved as a system control valve. The valve is rated at 300psi for steel pipe in the 2" - 10" sizes and agency rated for both indoorand outdoor service.The Gruvlok Grooved Check Valves can be used in fire protectionconnections such as fire department pumper to sprinkler systems, publicwater supplies to automatic sprinkler systems, fire pump discharges andbypass, and gravity/pressure tanks.The 171N Threaded Ball Valves are UL listed and FM Approved for usein fire protection systems. Valves have a rugged, dependable design,meeting rigid specification for residential, commercial and industrialapplications. The two piece 171N full port design is available in sizes1 4" through 4". All valves conform to MSS-SP-110,MSS-SP-25 and Federal SpecificationWW-V-35B Type II, Class A Style 3.The valves are available in triple stemseal, hard chrome plated ball,blow-out proof stem, adjustablepacking gland, a bubble tightshut off and a floating ball for aneconomical solution.GRUVLOK ROLL GROOVERSDesigned for maximum reliability, efficiencyand safety, Anvil Gruvlok Roll Grooversprovide peak performance at a low cost, andtheir rugged construction keepsthe need for maintenance at aminimum. SPF GROOVED COUPLINGS, FITTINGS & FLANGESSPF Grooved Couplings and Fittings provide a rigid or flexible pipeconnection for fire protection systems with dependable seals over a rangeof internal pressure situations. SPF also offers Short Pattern Productsthrough 8" to meet all of your fire protection needs.Quick and easy installation and durable material construction makethese SPF couplings ideal for almost any fire protection application inboth wet and dry systems. The coupling’s housing is made from ductileiron conforming to ASTM-A536, Grade 65-45-12. They are UL/ULCListed and FM Approved and range in size from 11 4" to 12". ANVIL STEEL PIPENIPPLES & STEELPIPE COUPLINGSAnvilStar offers a variety of Steel PipeNipples and Steel Pipe Couplings for thefire protection industry.Anvil’s Steel Pipe Nipples aremanufactured in accordance with ASTMStandard Specification A733-Welded andseamless carbon steel and stainless carbon steeland stainless steel pipe nipples. Materials include black and hotdipped galvanized finishes. Anvil manufactures a wide range ofstock pipe nipples in 1 8" diameter through 8" diameter close through72" inch length in half-inch increments. We also offer standardnipple packs ranging from one each (close to 6") and standard sixpacks which offer multiple counts of each. Cartons are packed withhandles for easy carrying.Steel Pipe Couplings are manufactured in accordance with ASTMspecification A865. Straight-tapped couplings range in size from 1 8"NPS through 2" NPS, while 21 2" NPS and larger are taper tapped.ANVIL CAST IRON & MALLEABLEIRON THREADED FITTINGSAnvilStar offers the most complete line of Cast Iron and Malleable IronThreaded Fittings in the industry. Our versatile range of fittings is designedto provide dependable, fire-rated service.Cast Iron Threaded Fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASMEB16.4. They are UL listed and FM Approved and are available in sizes1 4" NPS through 12" NPS.Cast Iron Flanged Fittings are manufactured in accordance with ASMEB16.1 and are available in Class 125 and Class 250.Malleable Iron Fittings are available in a number of classes, includingClass 150 (standard weight) and Class 300 XS/XH (with extra-heavybanded pattern fittings). They are UL Listed and FM Approved for175 psi at ambient temperatures up to and including 12" sizes, while over 12"sizes are rated for 150 psi at ambient temperature.O’LETSThe forged-steel MT-40 SPF outlet fittings are contoured to provide a precisefit at the opening in the run pipe and conform to standard practice MSS SP-97.These outlets are available in sizes 1 2" – 2" for 11 4" – 8" run sizes.
