Steel InventoryMultiCam stockssteel in 12 meterlengths. Steel isordered in full truckloads to helpreduce costs andcontrol lead times.

Saw CuttingMultiCam uses twoprecision band saws to cutsteel tubes, angle and bar.The processed steel isused to build machineframes and gantries.

Sheet Metal FabricationSheet metal is cutwith a MultiCam3000 SeriesHyDefinitionPlasma system andprocessed on ourprecision CNCpress break. A5000 Series routeris also used fornon-ferrous metals.

WeldingFrames and Gantriesare welded on rigidcast-iron platen grids.These precision worksurfaces enable us toproduce consistent andaccurate weldments.

Small Parts ManufacturingAutomation is a keyelement to MultiCam’ssuccess. MultiCamoperates 3 VMC’s, 1HMC, and many othermachining centers.The new Giddings &Lewis HMC enablesvery accurate multisided machining ofmany criticalcomponents.

Frame & Gantry MachiningOnce the Frames andGantries are weldedand stress relieved,they are machined.Shown at the left isone of MultiCam’sthree large VMC’s.

Frame & Gantry MachiningThe 2nd of our largeVMC’s is primarilyused for processinggantries. Also shownis a custom-builtMultiCam that is usedto process longaluminum extrusionsand drill rackassemblies.

Frame & Gantry MachiningThe 3rd and largestVMC is used forprocessing bothframes and gantries.It features a workenvelope of 40’(X) x8’(Y) x 3’(Z) for bothpendulum processingas well as large framemachining.

Electronics LabThe control panel iscreated using adetailed set ofschematics. All cableconnections arelabeled and only highquality componentsare used.

Paint ShopTo help control lead times,MultiCam paints machineson 3 shifts 24 hours a day.MultiCam uses low VOChigh solid paints appliedwith HVLP systems to beenvironmentally friendly.

AssemblyMultiCam operatesAssembly 2 shifts a day.30 machines are invarious stages ofassembly at any onegiven time.

Quality ControlQuality is built intoevery MultiCam.At each stage ofproduction thequality control staffthoroughly checksthe construction ofyour MultiCam toinsure the bestquality andaccuracy possible.

ShippingMultiCam has aninterior truck wellenabling yourmachine to beunaffected bythe weatherwhen it is loadedfor shipment.

Parts InventoryMultiCam’s multimillion dollarinventory helpsreduce lead times andinsures minimal downtime for service andsupport issues.
