June 1, 2015The following limitations apply to the products covered by this Ford Performance Racing Parts Limited Warranty: The purchase invoice(s) is required for submission of warranty claims. Where a warranted Ford Performance part is replaced under this Limited Warranty, the replacement FordPerformance part is warranted only for the time remaining in the original Limited Warranty. This warranty does not cover parts with:o Damage as a result of misuse of a vehicle, such as competitive racing, overloading, driving overcurbs or using the vehicle as a stationary power source.o Damage or corrosion due to accidents, misuse, negligence, lack of proper maintenance or failureto follow maintenance schedule intervals. Proof of proper maintenance is the owner'sresponsibility. Keep all receipts and be prepared to make them available if questions arise aboutmaintenance.o Damage or surface corrosion from the environment such as acid rain, airborne fallout (chemicals,tree sap), stones, salt road hazards, wind storm, lightning, floods and other natural disasters.o Normal wear, tear or deterioration such as discoloration, fading, or blurring.o Damage due to improper installation, alteration, including calibration, use related to racing orcompetition, marine or motorcycle applications, or other non-vehicle usage. This warranty does not cover:o Non-Ford Performance parts or Genuine Ford replacement parts or accessories which FordDealers may sell or install on your Ford vehicle.o Parts replaced or labor charges incurred as part of normal vehicle maintenance.o Engine damage associated with use of fuels less than 91-octane.o Replacement parts or accessories installed on a Ford vehicle in which the odometer has beenaltered, or on which the actual mileage cannot be readily determined.o Replacement parts or accessories used in applications for which they are not designed.o Towing, shipping, rental vehicles, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use or other economic lossto the extent allowed by law, except in the Province of Quebec where reasonable costs of towingand shipping are covered.o Parts installed in vehicles registered and/or normally operated outside the United States orCanada. Should Ford Performance modify any currently released parts which apply to this warranty program, FordPerformance is not obligated to update any previously manufactured parts. July 1, 2015Ford Performance warrants for 24 months or24,000 miles / 40,000 kilometres, whicheveroccurs first subsequent to the original retailpurchase, that it will repair or replace, at itsoption, any Ford Performance engine part that,after inspection, is found to have failed due to adefect in factory supplied material orworkmanship. Ford Performance may use newor remanufactured parts for replacement. Thislimited warranty is valid for the original retailpurchaser and is transferable to subsequentowners.Refer to the Ford Performance Crate EngineWarranty Reference Chart on the following pagefor specific coverage by Part Number.Covered engine parts include the engine block andcylinder heads, all internally lubricated parts of theengine, including pistons, piston rings, piston pins,crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods androd bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings,timing chain, timing chain gears, intake and exhaustvalves, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rockerarms, valve lash adjusters, hydraulic or mechanicallifters and valve stem seals, to the extent that theoriginal engine contains the referenced warrantedpart.Parts that require normal manufacturersrecommended replacement intervals are notcovered under this warranty.In the Province of Quebec, none of the limitationsand exclusions below will exclude or restrict thewarranty provided for in Sections 37 and 38 of theQuebec Consumer Protection Act.
